The following are the admission regulations of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati applicable to PG (MD/MS) Courses for the academic year 2016-17.

Eligibility For Admission :
** The candidates who have passed MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by MCI and completed internship at the time of their applying are eligible.

** The candidates who will be completing internship on or before 31-03-2016 are also eligible to apply and such candidates have to submit their application along with internship completion certificate.

** Must have registered with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

Online Application Instructions :
** Click here for downloading the SVIMSPGET 2016 Prospectus. Read carefully before filling the online application form.
** An account must be created by using a valid e-mail id and Mobile number. Ensure that DND is not activated in your mobile.

** The system will generate an application number and password which will be sent to your registered e-mail id and SMS to your registered mobile number, which will help the candidate to logon to the application. In case you have not received your application number and password, please check in spam/Junk email folder.

** Login screen will appear where you have to enter application ID and date of birth. Your date of birth is the password.

** Step I: Payment details screen will appear. Payment of application fee of Rs.2000/- has to be made through Credit/Debit card / online transfer. No other mode of payment will be accepted. All Banking charges for transaction will have to be borne by the candidate.

** For successful transaction of the fees, don’t close the web page or press any key on keyboard/ mouse, until the web page displays the message “Transaction is successful”. If your internet connection is slow or browser is closed due to any reason while making payment, re-login and verify the payment status allowing minimum of 24 hrs for it to be updated.

** Step-II: Personal details screen will appear. Carefully fill the required details as per MBBS degree certificate. The mandatory columns mentioned with ‘*’ must be filled and click on “save”. Enter study details as per the place of study from class VI to MBBS.

** For the period of study from class VI to Inter, please mention the place of study in terms of the District/s where the school / college is located.

** Step-III: Upload Passport size Photograph & Signature in .jpg/.jpeg format only having size not exceeding 500KB. The following documents (mandatory mentioned with ‘*’) shall be uploaded in .pdf format only having size not exceeding 1MB (1024KB).

a) MBBS degree provisional / original certificate.
b) MBBS consolidated marks memo. If not available, computerized marks statement of all the years prepared in a single sheet and attested by Principal/ Gazetted officer to be uploaded.
c) Certificate of Internship.
d) Medical council registration certificate(Temporary/Permanent).
e) Caste certificate for those who are claiming under reservation category.
f) Person with Disability (PWD) certificate for those who are claiming reservation under PWD category.

g) Candidates who have studied MBBS from other than SVU local area comes under un-reserved (UR) category. In which case :
i) Candidates who have studied MBBS from Telangana and Andhra University region need not to upload additional documents mentioned below under g(ii).

ii) Those candidates who have studied MBBS from other than A.P / Telangana have to upload Residence certificate Annexure-I (click here to download) or Study Certificates from class I to Intermediate (studied in AP / Telangana only) in a single PDF file.

If the candidate is eligible under Appendix-II (3) of prospectus (Parent / spouse/ self employed in Govt. sector in A.P. / Telangana) has to upload relevant certificates in a single PDF file.

** If the application is completed, verified and uploaded all the documents then submit to generate registration slip. Take a print for future reference.
** All the copies of documents have to be uploaded along with the application. No hard copy should be sent.
** Incomplete application, application not submitted through online and documents not uploaded will be rejected without any intimation.
** Candidates eligible to appear for the Entrance Test should download their e-Hall Ticket which will be hosted on the website. The Hall Tickets will not be sent by post.
** Application will be available online from 24/03/2016 to 11/04/2016 only.

** The Online application form involves the following stages of process: Registration, Login, Payment, Personal details, Education details, choice of city selection, uploading of photograph, signature and certificates. Download the Application registration slip.
