Q: How many campuses you have and please tell me the location of the campuses?
A: We have eight fully functional campuses all over India – Noida, Kolkata, Chennai, Rohtak, Jodhpur, Fursatganj, Chhindwara and Guna. Four new campuses of the FDDI are being established at Punjab, Patna, Hyderabad and Gujarat.
Q: What is your eligibility criterion? Explain me in detail?
A: The eligibility criteria are as follows:
PG Programmes – Graduation in any discipline {candidates appearing in final year may also apply}
UG Programmes –10+2 / Intermediate {candidates appearing in 10+2 may also apply}
Integrated Programme – 10+2 / Intermediate {candidates appearing in 10+2 may also apply}
Eligible candidates will have to undergo an All India Selection test (AIST) that consists of Online test (Math, English, reasoning/General science & GK)
Candidates who have attempted CAT/MAT/XAT are eligible for exemption from appearing in the online test of FDDI.
Candidates appearing for CAT/MAT/XAT will also have the option to appear for FDDI online test. In that case the best of two exams i.e. CAT/MAT/XAT or FDDI written exam will be considered for the merit of selection.
The common merit list of online test will be prepared for candidates appeared in the written test of FDDI and applied under CAT & MAT category. Accordingly, shortlisted candidates will be called for Counseling.
Procedure to be followed :
Step 1: Purchase of Admission Form. (Cost of Prospectus along with the admission form is Rs 500/-)
Step 2: Filling up the application form
Step 3: Last date for submission of admission form is 15th May, 2015.
Date of Entrance exam – 12th, 13th & 14th June, 2015 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Result Declaration – 30th June, 2015
Date of Counseling –
PG Candidates – 8th, 9th, 10th July, 2015
UG Candidates – 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th July, 2015
Tentative date for new session – First week of August
Q: Do you have any Sponsorship category for admission seekers?
A: 15% seats are reserved for industry sponsored candidates. Industry sponsoring such candidates will be required to pay twice the tuition fee in case of Noida and for all other campuses 50% extra fee will be charged. FDDI will not be responsible for Industry internship & placement of such candidates.
