NAT Exam 2015: National Admission Test (NAT) for B.Tech.

Admission Procedure :
Admission to 75% seats (including 15% all india category seats) will be made by Haryana State Counseling Society through ‘ONLINE OFF CAMPUS’ Centralized Counseling based on JEEE-2015 (Main) Merit Ranking. The remaining 25% seats are reserved for Institute Level and are allotted on Merit List prepared based upon NAT exam. Students may opt to appear in any designated centres or may opt for the Online Test. Students applying for Online Test will have to specify the Online Test Code and would get a unique ID and Password through SMS or Email 3 hours before the start of the Online Test.

Eligibility :
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Any other qualification considered as equivalent by University.
Age at least 17 years on the 1st date of the month of admission.

Pattern :
The examination consists of 100 multiple choice questions (50 Mathematics and 50 Physics)
The duration of the paper will be 2 hrs 30 min.
Each correct answer will earn 3 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for an incorrect answer.

Candidate should note the following Important Dates for NAT Exam:
Sale of Information Brochures & Application Form Starts on 15th September, 2014
Closes on & last date of receiving Application Form 31st May, 2015
Date of National Admission Test 5th June, 2015
Declaration of result 12th June, 2015
First Counseling and Admission Starts on 21st June, 2015
Classes starts on 3rd August, 2015

Instructions:
Cost of Application Form/Brochure is Rs. 700/-. The payment is to be made in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of “APIIT SD INDIA”, payble at Panipat and send the same at APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Karnal Side, Near Toll Plaza, Panipat- 132103 (Haryana).
OR

In case of downloaded application form: A Demand Draft for 700/- in favour of “APIIT SD INDIA”, payble at Panipat is required to be attached with the filled in application form and has to be sent at APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Karnal Side, Near Toll Plaza, Panipat- 132103 (Haryana).
Three self attested passport size photographs, 1 should be pasted on the application form & 1 each on Attestation Form A and Form B.

The Acknowledgement Card (Form C) will be sent back to the candidate within a week of receiving the application form.

Attestation Form B which will act as an Admit Card/Hall-Ticket for the candidate, will be sent to the candidate by post 15 days before the test.

The candidate is required to produce the Admit card in the examination hall to the Center Superintendent, for verification.

The application number mentioned on the Application Form would act as the Examination Roll No. for the candidate.

Before filling the application form read all the booklets. Application Form should be completely filled by the candidate and duly signed by the candidate and Father/Guardian.

Choice of Test center and details of payments should be carefully filled.

Note:
The test centers will be allotted on the priority basis. In case the number of candidates opting for a particular center is less, then the institute reserves the right to remove that test center and allot the 2nd or 3rd priority center to the candidate.
