FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
1. What is CUSBET – 2015?
This is online test held for admission of students in Central University of South Bihar, for Integrated Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Integrated MPhil- PhD programmes. This test shall be held at several centres across India.

2. Where the programme is offered?
Programmes are being offered at Patna and Gaya campuses:
PATNA CAMPUS :
MSc in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Life Science, Mathematics and Statistics, MTech in Computer Science, MA in Communication & Media Studies and Psychology, Integrated MPhil-PhD in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Life Science, Mathematics and Statistics
GAYA CAMPUS :
Five-Year Integrated BA.LLB (Hons) and BSc.LLB (Hons), Four-year Integrated BA.BEd and BSc.BEd, MA in Develepment Studies, Economics, English, Hindi, Political Science & International Relations and Sociology, Integrated MPhil-PhD in Political Science & International Relations and B.Voc Arts & Crafts (new)

3. How many programmes one can apply for?
One can eligible to submit only one application with 2 choices, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

4. How much is the examination fee?
The details are as follows (except for B.Voc Programme):
Category Online / Offline Application Fee
General / OBC/Others Candidates ` 400 for one Programme ` 600 for two Programmes
SC/ ST / Differntly Abled Candidates ` 200 for one Programme ` 300 for two Programme

5. How to submit application for B.Voc Programme ?
Download application form from website www.cub.ac.in . Send / submit the duly filled-in application (without application fee), directly to Controller of Examinations, Central University of South Bihar, BIT Campus, P.O. – B.V. College, Patna – 800014, Bihar.

6. How to deposit Examination fee?
There are two modes of fee deposition as follows:
(i) Through Bank Challan (in Punjab National Bank / State Bank of India): Click on: “Bank Challan” to download PNB/SBI challan to make the payment. There will be three copies of Challan – University’s copy, Applicant’s copy and Bank’s copy. Applicant should take a print out of this challan to make the payment in any PNB Branch/ SBI Branch. Retain the University’s copy and applicant’s copy of the challan duly filled and stamped by the Bank Official.

7. How to apply through online / offline?
Visit Central University of South Bihar website  and follow the instructions to fill online / offline application form.
(a) Online applicant must take a printout of the online application form(s) and keep the same in safe custody. They need not send the hard copy to the University.
(b) Offline applicant need to send / submit the duly filled in application to Controller of Examinations, Central University of South Bihar, BIT Campus, PO – B. V. College, Patna – 800014 alongwith the University’s copy of Bank Challan / NEFT receipt (in original) so as to reach on or before the last date. University will not be responsible for postal delays.

8. How to know that the application submission is successful?
As soon as the application is received with payment authentication, an automated e-mail will be sent to the Email Id of the applicant for the online applicants. For offline applicants acknowledgement shall be sent by email/SMS immediately. Later the application number and other details shall be sent by email.

9. What will be the type of questions and duration of Entrance Test?
The online test is of 2 hrs for 100 marks (100 questions X 1 mark each). The question paper shall consist of two parts Part A (35 Marks): General knowledge, reasoning, mathematical aptitude, language skill etc.; Part B (65 Marks): Subject Knowledge.

10. Which syllabus is to be followed for the MCQ in the entrance examination?
For all Integrated UG programmes, subject related questions will be of 10+2 level. For postgraduate programmes, it will be based on undergraduate syllabus. For Integrated MPhil-PhD programme, it shall be of Postgraduate syllabus (see eligibility criteria in each of the programme, in the prospectus).

11. How to receive the Hall Ticket for the online test?
Visit cub.ac.in and enter your application number & date of birth , in the format DD/MM/YYYY, in the appropriate box and click “submit” button to take the printout of your Hall Ticket. Hall Ticket can be downloaded from 20-MAY-2015 (Wednesday) onwards.

12. What are the essentials to be brought while coming to the test centre?
1) Take a printout of the Hall Ticket as you will require Login ID Password to appear for online test.
2) Valid photo ID (in original), like PAN Card, AADHAR Card or photo ID issued by last college/school attended.
3) The online applicants are to bring the following additional documents at the time of test.
a) University copy of Bank Challan Transaction (in original).
b) Printout of the duly filled -in/submitted application form.
4) Candidates should bring two HB pencils, sharpener and eraser, for possible switch over to offline mode.

13. When will the result of CUSBET -2015 be declared?
The results will be available on the website cub.ac.in from 4th June, 2015. The score card can be downloaded.

14. How candidate will know CUSBET – 2015 short-listed list for interview?
Candidate has to visit the University website for which she/ he has applied.

15. How the candidate is admitted student?
A candidate is admitted based on:
a) Ranking in the CUSBET for that programme (Higher the Score, better are your chances)
b) Meeting the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University.
c) Performance ranking in the written test / interview.
