HPCET – 2015 :
The HPCET-2015 application has been made completely online i.e. the candidates have to fill the particulars online and also upload their photograph and signature. The candidates are advised to send hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page to the Registrar, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (H.P.). However, the candidates are further advised to retain hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page for future reference or correspondence, if any.

The Application Processing cum Test Fee may be paid either by credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the Application Form. In case of e-challan, the payment should be made in the Punjab National Bank in cash. Application Processing cum Test Fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.

In compliance to above referred notification Himachal Pradesh Technical University (hereinafter called as HimTU) will conduct Common Entrance Test (hereinafter called HPCET-2015) for admissions to all Technical, Vocational or Professional Courses in all the institutions deemed to be University, or Universities established under the State Act or Constituent units thereto.

The University will conduct the HPCET-2015 for admission to B.Tech./B.Pharmacy/ B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda),M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MCA and MBA being offered by HimTU and colleges affiliated to it, deemed to be University, or other Universities established under the State Act or Constituent units thereto.

The admission to all courses shall be made on the basis of merit or rank/marks obtained in the National Level Entrance Test subject to fulfillment of minimum educational qualification. However after exhausting the merit of National Level Entrance Test, the admission to all courses shall be made on the basis of merit of marks obtained in HPCET-2015.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM :
(a) The Application Form duly completed should be checked, if all the items have been correctly filled and appropriate codes indicating your exact choice have been put in the right spaces provided against each. Also ensure that you have adhered to the instructions for completing the online Application Form before submitting it.

(b) Incomplete Application Form shall not be considered and no correspondence shall be made in this regard. The Application Form once submitted cannot be taken back under any circumstances nor shall the application fee deposited be refunded in any case.

(c) Any application submitted after the prescribed last date will not be accepted.

(d) The applicants are required to pay the Application Processing cum Test Fee given in table at 9.3 through the following mode:-
(i) e-Challan mode
(ii) Net banking /Credit card/Debit card

APPLICATION PROCESSING CUM TEST FEE FOR EACH COURSE
The fee (in Indian Rupees) for HPCET-2015 is as follows-

In case the Application Processing cum Test Fee is paid through e-challan/credit/debit card, the candidate is required to pay an additional processing charge, if any as per the bank norms.

INFORMATION TO BE FILLED UP IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR HPCET-2015 :
Read the instructions carefully before proceeding ahead for Registration
(a) Fresh Registration has been started w.e.f. 28th Feb 2015 through HPCET -2015
(b) Last date for submission of hard copy of the Application Form is five days after the closing date.
(c) The candidate is required to pay prescribed Application Processing cum Test Fee.
(d) For Better accuracy please use only Firefox, Chrome & Internet Explorer
(e) Clear the temporary internet files and cookies before filling up each form.
(f) Do not fill the Application Form using mobile phones.
(g) Fill up the Application Form at a suitable time and from a location where you have a good bandwidth available.
(h) Do not open more than one session at the same time on the same computer while filling the online form. ie; do not fill more than one form at the same time on the same computer even if you are filling the two applications using different browsers or different tabs of the same browser.
(i) Detail submitted during registration cannot be changed later, so make sure you do not make errors in the information you fill in this form.

Keeping in view the instructions mentioned above, the desirous applicants have to click on “Registered Now” icon shown in the left of the screen. Account Registration Form will appear. Make the essential entries of Name, User Name, Password, Confirm password, Date of Birth,email address and mobile number. Once the new account is created, online system will generate the unique Application Form Number.

Applicants are advised to note down the Application Form Number, User name & Password for all future references. After the creation of account, click on login and fill the username, password and Application Form Number. Thereafter, the online Application Form will appear and initially the candidate is required to fill the BASIC DETAILS FORM containing the following fields.

CONFIRMATION :
Thereafter, filled Application Form under the “Confirmation” button will appear. At the bottom of the Application Form two options i.e. “Edit” and “Final Submit” will appear. In case any candidate intends to make correction of any error viewed in the confirmation page, he/she can click on “Edit”button. The data filled by the candidate will be appeared in the editable form. After the correction he/ she can click on ‘Update Details”button to save the changes. It may be ensured before clicking the “Final Submit” button, that all the applicable fields have been filled correctly, thereafter click on the “Final Submit” button.

Thereafter, screen will display the full details of the applicant, entered in the Application Form along with declaration. Now the applicant is required to take print out of the Application Form (Confirmation Page) and get it signed from his/her parents/guardian and send it by registered post with the quote on the envelope at the right side indicating the name of “Program” whichever is applicable to the applicant, and also subscribe on the envelope “Application Form for Entrance Test HPCET-2015” at the following address.

  1. I forget my username. What should I do?

  2. By mistake I have entered the wrong percentage and I have submitted my fees. How can I correct it?

    1. From the Website:

      At the bottom of the Application Form two options i.e. “Edit” and “Final Submit” will appear. In case any candidate intends to make correction of any error viewed in the confirmation page, he/she can click on “Edit”button. The data filled by the candidate will be appeared in the editable form. After the correction he/ she can click on ‘Update Details”button to save the changes. It may be ensured before clicking the “Final Submit” button, that all the applicable fields have been filled correctly, thereafter click on the “Final Submit” button.
