DAVUET-2015 :
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (DAVUET-2015) RULES :
** Candidate is directed to enter the respective Examination Hall 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.
** Candidate will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
** Candidates should find and occupy their allotted seats as per the seating plan.
** Any other text material in printed or written form (i.e. log tables, formula book etc.) and electronic devices (i.e. blue tooth, mobile phone, pager, programmable calculators etc.) will not be permitted into the examination hall.
** Only blue/black ball-point pens are allowed for shading the appropriate circles on the OMR sheet.
** Candidates need to read all the instructions given on the question paper and OMR sheet before attempting the paper.
** The candidate shall have to return the original OMR Sheet and question paper to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
** The maximum qualification of a writer in case of medical emergency is Matric. The candidate should contact the Admission coordinator of his/her respective centre before the commencement of the entrance test for the arrangement of writer and other formalities.
** Any malpractice committed during examination would lead to cancellation of the eligibility of the candidate for admission.
** All India Entrance-cum-Scholarship Test (DAVUET-2015) will be governed by the rules and regulations of the DAV University Jalandhar.
** DAV University reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the DAVUET-2015 even though the Roll Number and Admit Card may have been issued.
** No TA will be paid to the candidates.
** Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
** Candidates will not be allowed to write any question from the Test Booklet on the Admission Card or on any other paper to be taken out of the examination hall.
** All legal disputes pertaining to this Test shall fall within the jurisdiction of Jalandhar Courts only.
** Appearance in DAVUET-2015 does not confer any right on the candidate for admission to any course. This will be decided solely on merit in Entrance Test and production of eligibility documents at the time of admission.
** The admission to DAV University, Jalandhar is subject to fulfillment of the eligibility and any other criteria as prescribed by the DAV University, Jalandhar.
** Instructions in the Information Bulletin are subject to change from time to time. There is no equity or right that is deemed to be arising in favour of candidates.
** In case any information in this application is found to be false or incorrect at any time (even during or after completion of the course), it shall entail automatic cancellation of candidate’s admission, if granted, cancellation of the degree if awarded, besides rendering him/her liable to such action as the University may deem fit. The interpretation of the University authorities shall be final and binding.

DECLARATION OF RESULT :
** After the evaluation of Answer Sheets result is likely to be declared by 15th May, 2015and the same will be available on website www.davuniversity.org.
** A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the DAVUET-2015.
** There will be no separate merit list of SC/ST candidates.
** There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets.
** No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

COUNSELLING RULES :
** The date / time for counselling will be published on the university website www.davuniversity.org. Candidates can download and take a printout of their counseling letter and counseling record from the University website and appear for the counseling as per thecounseling schedule.
** The short-listed candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the DAV University premises in Jalandhar, Punjab and/ or at a Centre to be notified later subsequent to the declaration of the result.
** It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission. Having been called for the counseling does not necessarily mean acceptance of the eligibility claimed by the candidate.
** The provisional admission offered to a candidate to a program will stand cancelled if he / she does not submit the relevant documents in original, pertaining to admission (such as Marks Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, etc.).
** Change of date / time of counselling are generally not permissible. If a candidate does not appear for counseling / Interview on the date and time specified, his / her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
** The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fee on confirmation of the seat and acceptance of the branch allotted.
** The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without these documents.
