INFORMATION ABOUT DAV UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE-CUM-SCHOLARSHIP TEST :
The DAV University is holding Entrance cum Scholarship test (DAVUET-2015) on May 3, 2015 for admission to the following courses

All the candidates seeking admission to above courses may follow the website www.davuniversity.org for procedure and guidelines regarding admission.
1. IMPORTANT DATES :
(i) Last date for submission of duly filled application form at the opted Examination Centre 10th April, 2015, Friday
(ii) Date of Entrance Test 3rd May, 2015, Sunday

Time of Entrance Test:
** for candidates appearing in three subjects (PCM or PCB) 11.00 AM-12.30 PM
** for candidates appearing in four subjects (PCMB) 11.00 AM-01.00 PM

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
** A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th Standard in 2015, is eligible to appear in the test. However, he/she shall be admitted to the course only, if he/she provides the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of admission.
** A candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate of marks in respective subject combinations given under section 3. A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to SC Candidates.
** The candidates presently having compartment in 10+2 examination will not be eligible for admission to any course.

4. PATTERN OF QUESTION PAPER :
The Question paper shall be based on CBSE syllabi of 10+1 and 10+2. Question paper will be in English language only and questions will be of multiple choice (MCQ) type. Each question will have 4 choices out of which only one correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate circle is to be shaded on the provided OMR sheet. Each question will carry one mark. The question paper will have the following four sections

B Chemistry Q.No. 26 to 50
C Mathematics Q.No. 51 to 75
D Biology Q.No. 76 to 100
Note:
1. ‘0.25’ mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
2. Students opting for PCM stream should attempt the sections A,B and C
3. Students opting for PCB stream should attempt the sections A,B and D

HOW TO APPLY :

** The candidate is required to fill online form by visiting the website.
** For choice of centre, Click State > District > City > Centre on the online form.
** Click the ‘Submit’ button and take the printout of the Admit Cards generated automatically.
** Affix recent passport size photograph on each admit card.
** Retain Student’s Copy and submit other two admit cards by hand or post to the opted examination centre along with the requisite fee.
** Duly signed admit card will be sent to the candidate by the examination centre by post. However, the same can also be collected from the examination centre by hand.

NOTE:
** The candidate may also get the registration form from the Principal of the opted examination centre by paying Rs. 100/- and follow the above procedure.
** The filled-in form should not be sent to DAV University unless DAV University Jalandhar is opted as the exam centre.
** The University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in postal transit.
** List of test centres is given in Annexure-I.

MODE OF PAYMENT :
a) Cash
The candidate can pay the fee of Rs 100/- to the Examination Centre opted by the candidate.
Or
b) Multicity cheque or Demand Draft
The fee can also be deposited through Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 100/-drawn in favour of “Principal, ………………..”, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective city. Candidate should write his/her name, address and mobile number on the reverse side of multicity cheque/DD.
For example, If a candidate has selected DAV Public School,BRS Nagar, Ludhiana as examination centre, the candidate is to draw a cheque/DD in favour of ‘Principal, DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana’.

Note:
** In case DAV University is opted as a test centre the Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 100/- is to be drawn in favour of Registrar, DAV University, Jalandhar.
** Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
** The applications will be processed on receipt of payment. The online application form registered within due date without deposition of requisite fee will not be entertained.

REJECTION OF APPLICATION FORM :
1. Incomplete Application form will be rejected.
2. Candidates are advised to submit only one Application Form.
3. No request regarding non-receipt of Online Application Form would be entertained.

TEST CENTRES FOR DAVUET–2015 :
i. List of Centres across India where DAVUET-2015 is to be conducted appears in Annexure-I.
ii. The candidate should select only one centre for the entrance test from Annexure-I.
iii. The examination centre once filled in the application form will not be changed.
iv. Thou gh every effort will be made to allot the centre selected by the candidate, yet the University reserves the right to allot the centre other than the candidate’s choice.
