Online Entrance Test :

Duration: 4 ½ years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship.
Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Date of Birth: Should fall on or before 31.12.99

Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

Online Entrance Exam :
Admission to Manipal University is through the online entrance examination, which is held at centres all over India.

Admissions :
General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.

Note: Only candidates who have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016 will be considered for admissions.

Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination

Note: Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

NOTE 2: Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of counseling. Students who have taken CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board Qualifications need not submit the certificate.

Pattern: Group 1: Applicable to MBBS / BDS / BPharm / PharmD courses. Duration – 2.30 hours, Questions-200 (MCQ).The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:

Physics – 50, Chemistry – 50, Biology-70, English & General Aptitude-30.

Merit List:
General Category: Based on the marks obtained in MU-OET, Manipal University will declare a list of all candidates who have appeared for the entrance test on or before 27.05.2016 in the website. Incase of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the order of preference as under:
