Q1. What is the last date of submission of duly completed application form?
Reply :
Online form submission : 1st January, 2016, form Submission through post 4th January, 2016

Q4. What is the scheduled date of web hosting the Admit Cards for UPPGMET-2016?
Reply:
Admit cards will be available for download from the website upumcwa.org by 11th January – 2016.

Q.5 How to get admit card ? In case of application form not received at UPPGMET office.
Reply :
To get the admit card candidate should contact the observer-UPPGMET at the Examination Centre bit been 9:00am 12:00 noon on the day of examination to(as shown on the website) and they must carry the following :-

Reply : Date of entrance examination – 16th January – 2016 (Saturday)
Time of entrance examination 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM

Q6. What is the reporting time at examination centre ?
Reply : 12:00 noon (16th January – 2016)

Q7. What is the mode of examination ?
Reply : Computer Based Examination.

Q8. Who is eligible for NRI category quota?
Reply :
NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India.

Q9. How many questions will there be?
Reply :
There will be a total number of 250 objective type multiple choice questions.

Q10. What is the syllabus/course on which the exam would be based?
Reply :
The syllabus will be the same as prescribed for the MBBS courses as per Regulation on Post Graduate Medical Education, 2000 framed under IMC Act 1956.

Q11. If do not take my exam, will be eligible for a refund?
Reply :
No, your fees will not be refunded in case you do not appear for your exam as per your allotted location, date and time.

Q12. Will I be able to leave early ie exam before the allocated time?
Reply :
No, candidates will not be allowed to leave until the entire duration of the exam.

Q13. Can I change my slot and scheduled examination centre ?
Reply :
Change of slot and change of examination centre will not be permitted.

General Information Regarding UPPGMET-2016 :
** UPPGMET-2016 will be organised for admission in MD/MS/ Post Graduate Diploma Courses for Academic Session 2016-17 in unaided minority as well as non minority member medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
** The Computer Based Entrance Examination will be held on 16th January, 2016 (Saturday) & 23rd January, 2016 (Saturday) from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM.
** A sample/ mock test will be available on UPUMCWA website in the first week of January. 2016 (only for registered candidates) for practice purpose and to give the candidate look & feel of the Computer Based Examination.
** There will be a total no. of 250 objective type multiple choice questions as per the guideline of syllabus given in the appedix of this brochure.
** The UPPGMET – 2016 will consists of a maximum of 250 marks.
** The test on center will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
** The test will be of 3 hours duration.
** There is only one correct response for each question out of four responses given.
** There will be negative marks of ¼ for each wrong answer.
