MD/MS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :

JIPMER invites applications for academic session starting from 1st January 2016 for admission to M.D. / M.S. COURSES – JANUARY 2016 SESSION

ELIGIBILITY FOR MD/MS:
** Must have passed MBBS, or its equivalent qualification, from a University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
** Must have either completed, or due to complete, one year rotatory internship training on or before 31-12-2015.
** Must be registered with Central / State Medical Registration Council.

METHOD OF SELECTION: Entrance Examination for all the seats.

MODE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: Single shift On-line based distributed object system of 180 minutes duration (09.00 am – 12.00 noon) on 22-11-2015 (Sunday).

Distribution of a total of 95 seats for Indian Nationals / OCI in:
Anaesthesiology (7), Anatomy ( 3 ), Biochemistry (3), Immuno Hematology & Blood Transfusion (1), Community Medicine (3), Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology (3), Emergency Medicine (2), Forensic Medicine ( 1 ), General Medicine ( 10 ), Microbiology ( 7 ), Nuclear Medicine ( 1 ), Pathology ( 3 ), Pediatrics (8), Pharmacology ( 3 ), Physiology ( 3 ), Psychiatry (1), Pulmonary Medicine (1), Radio-diagnosis ( 3 ) , Radiotherapy ( 3 ), General Surgery (10), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (9), Ophthalmology (4), Orthopedic Surgery (3) and Oto-Rhino Laryngology (E.N.T.) (3).

Distribution of a total of 10 seats for Sponsored / Foreign Nationals in:
Anaesthesiology (2), Immuno Hematology & Blood Transfusion (1), Emergency Medicine (2) Pediatrics (1), Psychiatry (1), General Surgery(1), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (1) and Orthopedic Surgery (1).

** Allotment of seats is as per Roster Point Allocation Method during counseling.
** 3% of seats are for Orthopedic Physically Challenged (OPH) under horizontal reservation.
