ADMISSIONS INTO M.Tech.(Mechatronics) COURSE – 2015 :
Central Institute of Tool Design is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 29990:2010, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 50001:2011 certified premier Institute in India to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM, Mechatronics & Robotics. The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format for admissions into the following Long Term course conducted under Industry-Institution joint programme with JNTU, Hyderabad, Approved by AICTE, commencing from OCTOBER, 2015.
1. .MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (M.TECH.) – Mechatronics – (2 years / 4 semesters)- 25 seats (15 General+3 SC+1 ST+1 PH Selfsponsored+ 5 Industry Sponsored) + ( 7 Non Creamy Layer OBC Category SUBJECT TO APPROVAL FROM JNTUH)
Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mech.ECE/EEE/EIE/Mechatronics/Automobile/Aeronautical Engg.) or equivalent. Minimum of 55% marks in the Qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE.
Course fee : Self Sponsored – Rs. 39,000/- per semester Sponsored – Rs.48,500/- per semester
Age : 45 years
Cost of Application : Rs. 800/- for general category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Commencement of issue of Applications : 05.08.2015
Last date for submission of filled-in applications (upto 5.00pm at CITD) : 05.09.2015
Last date for submission of filled-in applications with late fee of Rs.500/- : 12.09.2015
Tentative Date of Entrance Examination : 19.09.2015, at 11.00a.m. at JNTUH, Kukatpally,Hyderabad
MODE OF SELECTION:
1) Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained in the Entrance examination.
2) Reservation for SC/ST/PWD quota exists as per Govt. of India norms.
HOW TO APPLY:
A) Application form and prospectus can be obtained from Training Department, MSME Tool Room /Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad – 500 037, on any working day between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.(Weekly holiday on Sunday) by paying application cost prescribed by Bank Challan or a crossed demand draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, preferably on State Bank of Hyderabad, Balanagar Branch, Hyderabad – 37.
B) Application form can also be downloaded from our website citdindia.org and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director (Trg), CITD, Hyderabad, along with prescribed application cost by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad,
C) Candidates who wish to consider their application under sponsored category also, should submit the sponsoring letter and experience certificate along with the application. No age limit for sponsored category candidates. However, preference will be given to those candidates whose age is below 45 years. Seats will be allotted strictly based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination subject to fulfilling the other criteria applicable to the category
