INTRODUCTION :
The Himachal Pradesh University will conduct the counselling on behalf of the Govt. of HP (Department of Medical Education Research) through Counselling Committee constituted by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh for filling-up of State and Management Quota Seats in Government Medical / Dental and Private un-aided Dental Colleges of the State of HP on the basis of Category wise merit list of those qualified candidates of AIPMT – 2015 who have applied online with successful transaction of fee during 26.08.2015 to 28.08.2015.

Entrance Examination and No. of seats available. :
The Director Medical Education & Research has vide its notification No. HFW(DME)H(III)G/58/10-Vol.-VI Dated 06.08.2015 has issued approval for conducting Entrance Examination through an Independent agency by the Association of Private Un-aided Dental Colleges of the State of HP at all India level to fill-up Left out / unfilled BDS Seats for the academic session 2015-16 after the 1st Councelling done by the State Govt..

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :
1. A candidate will be eligible for appearing in the Entrance Examination for BDS course if he/she:
i) is a citizen of India
ii) Has passed +2 examinations from any Institution recognized by the State Govt. / Govt. of India with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Cast / Scheduled Tribes or other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examinations be 40% instead of 50% as prescribed for General candidates. Further for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General PH and 40% marks for SC-PH / ST-PH / OBC-Ph are required.

B. Sc. Examination of an Indian University established by law in India; provided that he / she has passed the B. Sc. Examination with not less than two out of (Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany), Zoology) subjects securing 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) and further that he / she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English subjects securing minimum required percentage of marks.

Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the 10 (Medical Group) of an Indian University / Board taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subject with the required percentage of marks.

iii) Possesses a certificate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended.

iv) The Candidate should have already completed or should complete the age of 17 years and must not have completed 25 year of age on 31st December of the year of the concerned competitive examination. The applications of candidates who do not fulfill the age requirements will be summarily rejected. Date of birth as record in the Matriculation / Higher Secondary Certificate / Indian School Certificate will only be valid.

2. The candidates will have to submit the certificates in original at the time of centralized counseling without which the admission shall not be granted.

3. At the time of joining the course the candidate will have to submit a BANK GUARANTEE in favour of allotted institution for the remaining fee / dues of entire course.
