MBA ADMISSION :
Applications are invited for MBA programme in Food Business by Karnataka Veterinary, Animal & Fisheries Sciences University, tenable at Dairy Science College, Hebbal, Bengaluru for the Academic year 2015-2016.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidate should possess B.Tech.(D.Tech.)/ B.V.Sc./ B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.F.Sc./ B.Sc.(Agri.)/ B.Sc.(Ag.Maco)/ B.Sc.(Hort.)/ B.Sc.(Rural Home Science)/ B.Tech.(Food Engineering)/ B.Sc.(Food Technology)/ B.Tech.(Agri.Engg.)/ B.Sc.(Sericulture) or should have studied a 4 year degree programme. Those who have studied a 3 years undergraduate degree programme with science background/ B.B.M./ B.B.A, can also apply. Further those possessing a postgraduate degree in any discipline are also eligible. Candidates who will receive their Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) by 18th August, 2015 can also apply.

APPLICATION AND PROSPECTUS:
The application form along with the prospectus will be uploaded on 4th July 2015 and can be downloaded from the University website kvafsu.kar.nic.in.

Application fee of Rs.1000/- for General candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/Cat-1 in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Assistant Comptroller, Dairy Science College, KVAFSU, Hebbal, Bengaluru has to be enclosed along with the application.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:
The filled in applications duly complete in all respects along with requisite application fee in the form of Demand Draft should reach the “Registrar, KVAFSU, Nandinagar, PB No.6, Bidar-585401, Karnataka” on or before 7th August 2015.

WRITTEN TEST:
Candidates seeking admission have to appear for a written test, group discussion and interview, which are mandatory, on 17th August 2015 at 10.00 AM in the MBA Class room of the Dairy Science College, Hebbal Campus, Bengaluru-560 024, at their own cost.

RESERVATION OF SEATS:
The seats shall be reserved in accordance with the existing reservation policy of Govt. of Karnataka. However, no fee concession is given to any of the categories, since this is a self financed degree programme.

Late and incomplete applications will be rejected and the University will not be responsible for any type of postal delay. Refer prospectus for other details, the conditions and regulations prescribed therein are applicable.

Candidates to note the following important points :
** The application complete in all respects including copies of transcripts / marks card / certificates etc., should be sent on or before 7rd August 2015 to The Registrar, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal & Fisheries Sciences University, Nandinagar, P.B. No.6, Bidar – 585 401.

** The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay/s / non-delivery of application by the postal department / Courier service.

** The Written Test shall be a management aptitude test. Attend Written Test, Group discussion & Interview on 9th August 2015 at Dairy Science College, Hebbal Campus, Bangalore -560 024.

** Attend Written Test / Counseling-cum-Admission at your own cost on the stipulated date and time.

** The candidates are required to report atleast one hour before the Written Test / Counseling-cum-Admission.

** Admission to Written Test / Counseling is subjected to fulfillment of eligibility conditions prescribed and production of ‘Attested Photo Identity Card’.

** You are hereby informed to be present for Written Test/Counseling on the above date even if you do not receive the intimation letter due to postal delay.

** You are required to produce all the Original transcripts / Marks cards / Certificate etc. at the time of Counseling-cum-Admission.

** Demand draft (D.D.) drawn in favour of the Assistant Comptroller, Dairy Science College, KVAFSU, Bangalore 560024 payable at Bangalore for an appropriate amount as indicated in Annexure I/II/III. Besides, an admissible amount is payable in cash towards Group Health Insurance, at the time of Admission along with two latest passport size photographs.

** The selected candidate should pay prescribed fee at the time of Counseling-cum-Admission. Further they should report to the Dairy Science College and register for the courses on or before 17th August 2015.

INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATES:
1. Fill up Index Card
2. The duly filed in Application should reach the Registrar, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, P.B. No.6, Nandinagar, Bidar-585 401 on or before 3rd August 2015. The last date prescribed.
3. Application received late and incomplete application shall be rejected.
4. Enclose certificate of equivalent percentage of marks issued by Competent authority if studied under trimester system.
5. All column should be completed / if not applicable indicate ‘NA’.
6. Applicants who have sought admission to the MBA programme from Universities other than KVAFSU, Bidar will have to furnish a migration certificate if admitted.

ENCLOSURES WITH APPLICATION:
Each Application for admission should be accompanied with the following;
a) Demand Draft for the application processing fee as prescribed.
b) Community / Certificate obtained from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar in the case of SC / ST / Cat-1 / IIA / IIB / IIIA/IIIB candidates
c) A ‘No objection certificate’ and an experience certificate obtained from the controlling officer of the concerned firm in the case of in-service candidates.
d) Attested copies of certificates of qualifications, mark list of qualifying examination, and experience.
e) One self-addressed stamped envelop (worth Rs. 10/-) of size 23cm x 10cm.
f) Certificate in support of any other reservation claimed as specified in the application to prove their claims.
