IIFT Admission to MBA(IB)

ELIGIBILITY :
** Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline. Candidate appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2016.

RESERVATION :
** Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules.
** The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories.

For Foreign Nationals / NRI / Children of NRIs :
Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRIs and Children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of which should not have been declared before 1st January 2014 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31st March 2016.

MODE OF ADMISSION :
Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Written Test will be held on SUNDAY 22nd November 2015 during 10.00 a.m – 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/delete any centre, if required.

The Prospectus and Application Form may be obtained on all working days (Monday to Friday) between 10.00 a.m – 4.30 p.m. on payment of 1550 ( 775/- for SC/ST/PH candidates and 4500/- for Foreign Nationals/NRIs/Children of NRIs) in cash personally from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21,Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi- 110016 OR 1583 Madhurdaha, Ward No. 108, Borough XII, Kolkata – 700107. SC/ST/PH candidates to bring requisite Category Certificate also. Please note that no Demand Draft will be accepted at the Campus. Forms are available in CASH only.

Apply Online (thru DD/Credit Card) :
** Please note that the candidate should have the following ready before applying for online registration:

** You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours. The photograph should be in .JPG format and the size of this photo should be less than 50 KB.

** You need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be less than 50 KB.

** A valid Credit / Debit card (Master/ VISA) in case you want to pay ONLINE.

** Demand Draft of requisite amount if you are paying by Demand Draft.

Register Online :

** Click on “Apply Now” and choose the category under which you want to apply.
** Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form.
** Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to the registered email id.
** Log in to the website using the Application No. mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering.
** Follow the links to complete the registration process.
** Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

Registration fee :
General/OBC candidates : Rs1550/-
SC/ST/PH candidates : Rs775/-
Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates : US$ 80 (INR Rs 4500)

Mode 2 :
** Demand Draft – Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at NEW DELHI, since the candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.
** Upload your scanned photograph and signature in .jpg / .jpeg format only (file size not more than 50kb each).
** Once online process is complete, keep a print-out of the filled-in application form for your own record.
** Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.
