UG Medical (MBBS) counseling Process 2015

Counseling Process:
Venue: JSS Medical College, Mysore

STEP – 1:
Registration and Bio-metric Identification:
The candidates should register their names at entrance of the Counseling hall by producing the Original COMED UGET 2015 Score/Rank card , TAT card and also mentioning their JSSU UG Medical – 2015 rank in the merit list mentioned in the website and move to the allotted Biometric verification counter for Biometric identification.

Candidate must be physically present and no proxy registration will be accepted.

All registered candidates will be required to participate in Bio–metric identification. The thumb impression made in COMEDK UGET 2015 Invigilators dairy will be compared with that of the applicant appearing for counseling. If any discrepancy is observed and if there is sufficient evidence of impersonation, appropriate action as per the prevailing laws will be taken. Only eligible and identified students will then be permitted to proceed to the next stage of verification of original certificates.

If the photographs, fingerprints and signature of the candidate obtained in the process of COMED UGET 2015 entrance test, invigilators dairy and counseling and admission do not tally, this act shall be deemed as attempts of impersonation due to which the candidate shall be summarily disqualified and legal action initiated.

STEP – 2:
Verification of Original Certificates:
After completion of Biometric identification the candidate shall move to the allotted verification counter and produce acknowledgement form, which will be issued at the time of counseling along with all the original certificates, for verification by University officials. The original certificates will be kept in the University. The candidates are advised to keep sufficient photocopies of their certificates before submitting them to the University. No candidate will be allowed for counseling without producing all original certificates. They shall also submit DD for the fees payable by them.

On verification , if the documents are not found to be genuine and in order , or the same are suspected to be falsified and the admission committee is not convinced about the genuineness submitted at the verification counter, such candidates shall be rejected.

STEP – 3:
Selection of Seats
After submission of original certificates, the candidates will be called for counseling and will be allowed for selection of seats in the order of their merit only.

STEP – 4:
Issue of Allotment Letters:
The selected candidates should produce three recent passport size photos and get the allotment letters by affixing their signature in the register. The candidates should get admitted on or before the due date mentioned in the allotment letter, failing which the seat will automatically stand cancelled. The issue of Allotment Letter by the JSS UNIVERSITY is provisional, which enables the candidate to join JSS Medical College and Hospital, Mysore constituent college of JSS University and is subject to his/her meeting all the eligibility requirements as prescribed by MCI as well as JSS UNIVERSITY, Mysore, Karnataka.

Hence all the original documents are once again verified at the college before final admission, beside biometric, photo and signature verification, if necessary Clarifications:
Original certificates will not be returned to the students once admission is confirmed. However, suitable acknowledgement will be given to candidates of having surrendered the certificate to the University

The letters of undertaking from the student will be taken before issuing allotment letter with regard to refund of fees policy and other disciplinary guidelines of the University.

STEP – 5:
Admission:
The students would be advised to report to the Admission Officer at JSS Medical College, Mysore, where the certificates and other documents would have been duly forwarded by the University for completing the admission formalities including hostel accommodation, if desired.

The selected candidates shall get themselves admitted to the college by furnishing the allotment letter at the college within the due date notified by the University, failing which their selection shall stand automatically cancelled.

NOTE:
Legal jurisdiction:
** Any dispute that may arise in respect of the seat selection process and admission is subject to the jurisdiction of the Civil Courts of Mysore.

** Wait List:
When all the seats in the said course are filled, candidates may choose to be waitlisted.

** Candidates, who opt to be waitlisted, need not pay any fee until they receive the intimation of selection from the University that they have been selected for admission from the waiting list as a consequence of withdrawal or cancellation of admission of any originally admitted candidate.

** The student who has appeared for the 1st round of counseling only, is permitted to appear for the subsequent counseling if any.

** For the sake of administrative convenience candidates from JSSU UG Medical (MBBS) 2015 rank list 1 – 300 are called for 1st round of counseling. In the event of the seats remaining vacant, as may be notified on the website, the candidates from JSSU UG Medical (MBBS) 2015 ranks 301 onwards will be called during subsequent counseling.

** Forfeiture of seats selected during counseling:
** The selected candidates would have deemed to have forfeited their seats if they do not report to the college on or before the scheduled date of admission. They will be eligible to apply to the University for refund of fees. A processing time of 15 days shall be allowed for the refund of fees and such fees will be refunded after deduction as per refund of fee guidelines given by the University separately.

** If you do not report on the specified date and time, your application will be deemed cancelled without any further notice and you shall forfeit your claim for counseling and admission thereof.

** The option exercised by you in regard to selection of the course of study at the time of counseling will be final.

NOTE:
UG Medical (MBBS) Counseling is scheduled to be held on 23.07.2015 at JSS Medical College & Hospital, Mysore, Karnataka.
For the sake of administrative convenience candidates from JSSU UG Medical (MBBS) rank list – 2015, rank from 1 – 300 are called for 1st round of counseling scheduled to be held on 23.07.2015.
No Separate counseling call letter / intimation will be sent to the eligible candidates, prospective candidates may download the counseling call letter and attend the Counseling as per schedule announced.
