Kalyani University Research Admission Test
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.Phil programme in Education at the Dept. of Education, University of Kalyani, through Admission Test (KURAT) followed by an interview. Last date for receiving application forms: 16.07.2015
DETAILS :
i. Number of seats: 10 ( Ten) [Gen-05,SC-02,ST-01,OBC-A-01 & OBC-B-01]
ii. Eligibility: Candidates must obtain 55% marks in M.A./M.Sc. in Education(preceded by 3 years honours in any subject) or M.Ed.(preceded by M.A./M.Sc./M.Com with 50% marks and B.Ed.with 55% ) (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates)
iii. Exempted category: Qualified in NET/SET or any other national or State level test for pursuing teaching or research
iv. Duration: Two years (4 semesters)
Application Fee
v. Application Fee challan & Application form can be downloaded from the University website klyuniv.ac.in from 3rd July’15 until 16th July’15. Applicants shall make a payment of Rs. 400/- [Rs. 200/- for SC/ST] as application fee through Bank Challan to be deposited in any branch of SBI. Fee collection charge by the Bank is additional. Forms shall be submitted at Admission Section of University of Kalyani during 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on all working days excepting Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 3rd July’15 until 16th July’15. No postal delay will be entertained in case of postal submission.
vi. Publication of list of eligible candidates for the Kalyani University Research Admission Test (KURAT) and candidates exempted from the written test shall be published on the University website on 23.07.2015
Venue & Time : Dept. of Education, University of Kalyani at 12.00 noon
Details regarding the written test may be obtained from the Notice board at the Dept. of Education, University of Kalyani.
For other details candidates are requested to go through the ‘University Regulations for M.Phil and Doctoral Degrees’ available in the University website. Reservation and relaxation shall be as per rules of Govt. of West Bengal.

Date of Interview: 14.08.2015.
Date of Publication of Final Merit List: 19.08.2015.
