POST GRADUATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST – 2015 for admission to 1Year / 1 Semester MBA/MCA/M.E./M.Tech. M. Arch Courses/ M.Tech QIP and 2year Lateral Entry to MCA Course
Pursuant to the Government Orders No. (a) ED 67 TEC 2015 Bangalore, dated 30-04-2015, b) ED 89 TEC 2015, Bangalore, Dated 30-05-2015 and (c) ED 110 TEC 2015 Bangalore, dated 06-06-2015 Applications are invited from the eligible interested Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates for admission to 1st year1st semester full time part time MBA/MCA M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch courses and Admission to the Part Time MTech Quality Improvement Programme () in the institutions affiliated Universities which will be notified by the Government of Karnataka for the year 2015-16. Candidates have to appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test -2015 conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority to become eligible for admission to these courses as per the provisions of the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application Courses Rules, 2005, Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Master of Engineering (ME) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses, Rules, 2005.
Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible to select ONLY the seats surrendered by the management if any for admission to MBA/MCA Courses.
The candidates with valid GATE score should compulsorily enter apply application online to become eligible for admission to M.E / M.Tech/M.Arch courses, but they need not appear for PGCET2015.
Academic Eligibility:
The details of academic eligibility for all the above courses are available on the KEA website kea.kar.nic.in. The candidates are advised to Verify the eligibility criteria before applying to any of the courses.
How to Apply :
Step 1: Enter all the details through ONLINE by browsing URL On Web kea.kar.nic.in by selecting PGCET-2015. After completion of entry of all the details candidates will receive an application ID and Password to their registered email address and also the same information will be displayed On the screen.
Step 2: Upload the scanned copy of recent passport size Colour Photo and Signature in JPEG format separately.
Step 3: Download and take the printout of the Challan copy which is in triplicate. Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay an amount of Rs. 650/- for General Merit and OBC (Rs.500- for SCST Category1) for each course. The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified Banks. The Bank will retain its copy of the Challan and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates.
Step 4 : Download and take a printout of the application form on A4 Size paper. Affix candidates recent Passport size Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression on the space provided. Afterwards obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where you have studied final year Degree Examination on the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy.
Candidates should note down their application ID and Password until the completion of filling of the online application. Candidate has to enter all the required details in the form, failing which their application will not be considered. Applications without Photograph and Signature will not be considered as valid. Candidates are not allowed to edit their Application after taking the printout.

NOTE:
Examination is likely to be conducted on 8th and 9th of August 2015, changes if any will be notified on KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in
After ascertaining the payment details from the bank, candidate will be permitted to download the admission ticket.
The information particulars entered by the candidates Online for PGCET2015 Will be deemed as Final and will be the basis for further process. No change in any information entered by the candidates will be entertained.
I am gate qualified. But I received hall ticket of pgcpgcet. So should I go to examination centre?
I have completed degree.
I have applied pgcet on M.B.A
When will come hall ticket?
You can download your hall ticket using admission ticket and DOB from the official website.
I applied for mtech and paid fee on 25th July, on 27th I got payment confirmation message, after when I try to take final application print out it is shown as server error.
What to do now?
I have completed my pu with cs but not maths but in my degree I take a maths. Can you provide me a lateral entry for mca?
Can you please tell after payment of pgcet fee what I have to do and when they will issue all tickets?
Should GATE candidates also pay the fees or only the candidates appearing for PGCET?
I am not getting PGCET application form for MBA. Please help
