DIPLOMA ENTRANCE TEST -2015 :
Admission to 1st Semester Diploma Courses in Engineering/ Technology, Lateral Admission to 3rd Sem Engineering/ Technology & 1st Sem/ 1st Year Non-Engineering/ Film & TV Courses

The Diploma Entrance Test (DET)-2015 for admission to 1st Semester Diploma Courses in Engineering/ Technology, Lateral Admission of the eligible Candidates to 3rd Semester Diploma Engineering Courses, 1st Semester/ 1st year Non-Engineering, Film & Television Courses (available at BPFTIO, Cuttack)/ Part Time Diploma Courses will be conducted on 17.05.2015 (Sunday) in two sittings at selected centres inside & outside the State.

ELIGIBILITY:
(i) Admission to 1st Semester of Engineering I Technology : Pass in HSC examination / 10th standard examination conducted / declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with Math, Science & English.

(ii) Admission to Part Time programme of Engineering I Technology (4 years Course) : A candidate with minimum qualification as that of 1st Semester Engineering / Technology courses with two years working experience and other eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Brochure.

(iii) Admission to 3rd Semester under Lateral Entry Scheme for eligible candidates : Pass in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination with PCM / +2 Vocational (2 years course) in any Engineering Trades / 2 years ITI in Engineering Trade with pass in HSC examination / 10th standard examination conducted / declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha & securing 30% marks in each subject.

Age : Minimum 14 years for all courses except Mining/Drilling and Minimum 16 years for Mining/Drilling as on 01.07.2015. No Upper Age limit.

B) Admission to Film & TV Courses (available at BPFTIO, Cuttack) :
(i) Cinematography / Sound & TV Engineering : 10+2 Science from any State Board / ICSE/ CBSE with minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
(ii) Film & Video Editing : 10+2 Sc / Arts / Commerce from any State Board / ICSE/ CBSE with minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
Age: 16 to 28 years as on 01.06.2015. For SC/ST candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.

C) Admission to Non-Engineering Diploma Courses:
(i) Modern Office Management : Pass in 10+2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination in Science/ Arts/ Commerce recognized by CHSE, Odisha.
(ii) Pharmacy : Pass in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics as approved by PCI and obtained at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
(iii) HM&CT : Pass in +2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha or its Equivalent examination with Science/ Arts/ Commerce recognized by CHSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate securing at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
Candidates should go through the Information Brochure and apply through ONLINE mode only along with required DATA & application fee of (i) Rs.200/- for ST, SC & PH (ii) Rs.350/- for FEMALE and (iii) Rs.450/- for MALE candidates and the payment can be made through ATM cum DEBIT/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ AXIS Bank/ IDBI Bank e-challan only through Internet by logging on to website : www.detodisha.nic.in.
