I have 50% aggregate mark in Post-Graduation, but do not have 50% aggregate mark in graduation. Can I apply for the programme?
No. 50% aggregate mark in graduation is a mandatory criterion to apply for EPGP programmes of IIM Kozhikode.

I have 50% aggregate mark in graduation & have total work experience 5 years .But some of my experience is prior to completion of graduation. Can I apply for this programme?
No. Applicant must have possessed 5 years work experience after successful completion of graduation. Any work experience obtained prior to graduation is not considered for calculating the total work experience to apply for the EPGP programme of IIM Kozhikode.

From where can I attend the classes?
Participant can attend the online classes from designated class room centers across India. Please refer the following URL to know the nearby class room center.

Can I pursue EPGP programmes from outside India?
No. Presently all the EPGP Programmes are offered through designated class room centers across India only.

Will I get alumni status of IIM Kozhikode after completing the course?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, participant will be an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode.

Whether Specialisation programmes /1 year Certification programme participants will also get alumnus status after successful completion of the programme?
Yes.

Is it possible to apply for PhD after successful completion of the Programme?
The eligibility norms for PhD are decided by respective universities and may vary. There may be Universities/Institutions that consider executive Post Graduate Diploma as eligibility to apply for PhD.

What will be the title of final certificate issued on successful completion of the Programme?
The certificate will be titled “Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management” ( EPGDM)

Is there any placement assistance on successful completion of the programme?
EPGP programmes are meant for those executives in their middle / senior management positions wishing to augment their management expertise and leadership abilities. The programme is supposed to help working executives in their current work roles and career progression paths. Hence a formal placement assistance scheme is not part of this programme.

Is this Programme considered equivalent to MBA?
In India an MBA is usually granted by universities which administer a course curriculum through affiliated colleges, institution or otherwise and issue a certificate on passing the stipulated examination as per the curriculum. IIM’s are premier autonomous institutions of excellence established by the Government of India. They will design and deliver high end programmes for participants selected through a rigorous process. The content and coverage of such courses may exceed the typical curriculum of a university MBA. A post graduate diploma will be issued on successful completion of the two year course.

What is reference letter from current employer referring to in the Annexure-I?
A letter from the organization that applicant is presently working, stating the Name .designation, tenure of employment etc.

I am unable to get reference letter from my employer .What is the alternative document that I can submit?
You can provide us the self attested copy of offer letter along with latest salary slip from present employer.

I have 15 years of experience after graduation .Do I need to submit the self attested copies /Produce original certificate for whole 15 year or only proof for last 5 years experience is sufficient?
Candidates should produce all the experience certificates justifying the total experience mentioned in the application form.
