Common Entrance Test :

The School of Fashion Technology (SOFT), Pune, India – was established in 1998 by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, in ‘Technical Support’ with National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), (Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India).

With a mission to identify young women with professional, managerial, technical and entrepreneurial aspirations, talents and determination, SOFT offers post graduate and undergraduate programs covering almost all the fields of fashion. Students of SOFT are observed to get selected for their higher education abroad by London School of Fashion, FIT, New York and many other international institutes.

Having recognition for quality fashion education, SOFT has diversified its activities and now it is promoting ecological fashion through the activities of Consortium of Green Fashion. Over the years, SOFT is successful in creating its own brand and goodwill on domestic as well as international level. Being an Associate Member of International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI), now SOFT has also secured its place among fashion institutes of international level.

XIIth Pass in any Stream – Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science/ Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE)/ State Govt. Technical Education full time diploma of minimum 2 years after Std. X

For NRI & Foreign students with equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

For U.G. Program – B. Design (Direct 2nd Year Admission)
Three year Diploma recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
Five year Diploma in Fine Arts recognized by the State Technical Board
Successful completion of 1st year Degree from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
