HORTICET-2015 :
COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR HORTICULTURE POLYTECHNIC PASSED CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION IN TO B.SC. (HONS.) HORTICULTURE COURSE DURING 2015-16

Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University invites applications from Diploma in Horticulture candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture Degree programme for the academic year 2015-16.

ELIGIBILITY:
A pass in Diploma in Horticulture course from Dr. YSRHU of A.P. State only. (Those who will be completing in 2014-15 academic year can also apply through their Principal / Vice-Principals of Horticultural Polytechnics under Dr. YSRHU. But submission of Final Memorandum of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate of Diploma in Horticulture is must at the time of Admission counselling.

AGE LIMIT: The candidates should complete 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates but relaxed to 25 years in respect of S.C. & S.T. candidates and 27 years in respect of Physically Challenged (disabled) candidates.

Total No. of B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture seats allotted to diploma holders: 20 seats

Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservations and based on merit through the Entrance test which will be in Telugu (Multiple choice objective type questions) to be conducted at Examination Centre: Horticultural College & Research Institute, Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem-534101, West Godavari Dist., on 31-07-2015 (Friday) from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Interested candidates may apply for admission in the prescribed form as enclosed / attached along with a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) for OC/BC candidates and Rs.250/- (Rupees Two hundred and fifty only) in case of SC, ST & PH candidates in favour of the Comptroller, Dr. Y.S.R Horticultural University, payable at Tadepalligudem on any Nationalized Bank.

Duly completed application form along with DD for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/PH) 2 self addressed and stamped envelope (Rs.5/-each) should reach on or before 13-07-2015 by 4.00PM either in person or by post to “THE REGISTRAR, Dr. Y.S.R. HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, ADMN. OFFICE: P.B.NO.7, VENKATARAMANNAGUDEM-534101, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT”. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained and Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University will not be responsible for any postal /any delay.

List of Enclosures:
1. Proof of age.
2. Attested copies of the marks statement of 10th standard and Diploma Course.

3. Latest Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended.

4. Latest Caste Certificate (In case of SC/ST/BC’s)

5. Two Self addressed stamped (Rs.5/- postal stamp) envelope (For sending the hall ticket and Rank Card).

6. Three passport size photographs pasted on the application form and Hall ticket.

7. Demand draft for Rs. 500/- for OC/BC candidates (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates) drawn in favour of “Comptroller, Dr.YSR. Horticultural University, payable at Tadepalligudem”.

8. Application form duly filled should reach THE REGISTRAR, Dr. Y.S.R HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, ADMN.OFFICE : P.B.NO.7, VENKATARAMANNAGUDEM – 534 101, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT on or before 13-07-2015 by 4.00 PM.
