VTUEEE 2015 is an All India Common Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Vel Tech Dr.RR & Dr.SR Technical University for admission to engineering programmes leading to four year B.Tech. Degrees to be awarded by the University. This will take care of varying admission standards in these programmes and help in maintenance of professional standards apart from JEE listings. Appearance in VTUEEE 2015 is a must for consideration for Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarships.

B.Tech Full Time (VTUEEE) :
Nationality :
The applicant for admission to the B.Tech programme should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National. Foreign students need not write VTUEEE 2015 .

Qualifying Examination:
Candidates appearing for the VTUEEE 2015 should have either completed or shall be appearing in , any one of the following qualifying examinations: The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open School; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University; High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.

Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Academic or Vocational Education stream alone are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination
i. A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).
ii. Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura have to produce NATIVITY CERTIFICATES TO PROVE NATIVITY by the time of admission
iii. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in April/May 2015 may also appear in VTUEEE 2015.
iv. In case the marks statement is not produced by the candidate at the time of admission, the decision of the Authority of the University regarding his/her eligibility and admission to the programme shall be final.
v. For purposes of consideration for award of the Vel tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarships, the state from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs to, for ranking, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another state or union territory.

Date of Birth
Candidates who have not completed 25 years of age as on 1st July of the year in which admission is sought are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years.
Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.
Age relaxation up to six months may be granted by the Authority of the University in specific cases.

Subject Combinations Required
Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech. shall be as prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & University Grants Commission (UGC), that is, the candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics & Chemistry with Mathematics as compulsory papers for admission to any branch of B.Tech Degree programme.

B.Tech Lateral Entry :
Diploma in Engineering/ Technology through institutional study or a B.Sc. Degree with Maths / Physics / Chemistry

B.Tech Part Time :
Diploma in Engineering/ Technology through institutional study or a B.Sc. Degree with Maths / Physics / Chemistry with minimum one year of work experience.
Course Duration: 7 Semesters

Candidates submitting downloaded applications and those applying online are required to retain a photocopy of the filled-in form, and copy of mode of remittance of Application-cum-Examination Fees.

Request for change/correction in any particular/s in the Application Form will not be entertained under any circumstances. The University shall not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non-acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any information once filled-in the application form for whatsoever reasons. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling up and to again verify the particulars after filing up and before despatch.
