ADMISSION NOTIFICATION :
Applications are invited from candidates for admission to the following courses for the academic year 2015-16
Name of the Course : Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics
Duration : 4 & ½ Academic years
Eligibility :
** Candidates who have passed 10+2 std or appearing for HSC/ (10+2) Std. examination or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics with minimum 40% marks
** The candidate must be born on or before 31.12.1998.
** Entrance Test- 2015, conducted by this Institute.
** The candidate must be an Indian National.

Name of the Course : Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics
Duration : 2 Academic years
Eligibility :
** Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P &O) from an Institute/ College recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India with compulsory completion of Internship of 6 months if prescribed in the course.
** Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2015
** Certificate of registration with Rehabilitation Council of India. New Delhi.
** Entrance Test -2015, conducted by this Institute.
** The candidate must be an Indian National.
** Candidates who have obtained B.P.O. degree from distance learning mode will not be eligible.

Name of the Course : Master of Physiotherapy
Duration : 3 Academic years

Name of the Course : Fellowship Course in Rehabilitation Physiotherapy
Duration : 1 Academic year

Eligibility :
** The course is open for Physiotherapists holding Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six months compulsory Internship.
** Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2015
** Certificate of registration with Maharashtra State Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Council. Mumbai
** Entrance Test- 2015, conducted by this Institute.
** The candidate must be an Indian National.

Name of the Course : Master of Occupational Therapy
Duration : 3 Academic years

Name of the Course : Fellowship Course in Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy
Duration : 1 Academic year

Eligibility :
The course is open for Occupational Therapists holding Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six months compulsory Internship.
** Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2015
** Certificate of registration with Maharashtra State Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Council.
** Entrance Test- 2015, conducted by this Institute.
** The candidate must be an Indian National.

A) APPLICATION FORMS & PROSPECTUS:
i) Can be downloaded from Institute website Duly filled in application form can be forwarded to this Institute along with ‘Processing fees and application form /Prospectus fee.’

ii) If required by speed post; candidate should send ‘Application form /Prospectus fee’ and self addressed envelope of size 30cms. X 25 cms. (A4 size) fixing postage stamp of ` 80/- Superscribed as ‘Application for (Write Name of the course) course 2015’.

B) Examination fee for each course: –
i) ` 650/- (which includes Processing fee `. 500/- + Application form/ Prospectus fee Rs. 150/-)

ii) For SC/ST Candidates fee is relaxed to `. 550/- (which includes processing fee ` 400/- + Application Form/ Prospectus Fee ` 150/-)

iii) Payment will be accepted in the form of Demand Draft only from Nationalised Bank to be Drawn in favour of ‘Director, AIIPMR’ Payable at Mumbai. Payment in any other form will be rejected. The fees once paid is non refundable and non transferable under any circumstances.

C) Date of Entrance Test / Last date for submission of application form and other relevant details are mentioned in the Prospectus. Applicants are requested to go through the same before applying. Prospectus is available on Institute website

Note :- Admissions subject to grant of affiliation from University.

2 Recognised by: Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi. (A regulatory body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India New Delhi.)

3 Reservation:
3.1 Reservation will be done as Prevailing Provisions at Government of India Institutes and as amended from time to time.
3.2 OBC reservation will be made as per “Central List of OBC.”
3.3 Eligibility of the candidate with disability will be decided by Medical Board of the Institute.

4 Language of Study:
English (sound knowledge of English language is desirable in order to understand Medical and Technical terminologies.)
