Note : Computer Generated Application-cum admission form along with required documents is to be submitted to the Deputy Registrar, Entrance Tests Section, Room No. 10 (Ground Floor), Administrative Block, H.P. University, Summer Hill, Shimla – 171 005 on or before 19.06.2015 positively.

INTRODUCTION :
1. The Himachal Pradesh University will conduct an All India Entrance Test for admission to DM (CARDIOLOGY) / M.Ch.(CTVS) – SUPER SPECIALITY COURSES -2015 in the Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Shimla on behalf of Government of Himachal Pradesh (Department of Medical Education and Research) in accordance with the provisions contained in the Ordinance 14.15 of the First Ordinance of the Himachal Pradesh University (as amended from time to time) as also in accordance with the Policy, Programmes, Rules and Regulations framed for the same by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh from time to time.

2. The Entrance Test will be conducted for two seats each in D.M. (CARDIOLOGY) AND M.Ch.(CTVS) Courses for the Academic Session 2015-2018 starting from August, 2015 in the Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Shimla for which ONLINE Application forms from the eligible candidates are invited w.e.f. 19.05.2015 to 16.06.2015 through H.P. University Websites hpuniv.in.

ELIGIBILITY & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DM (CARDIOLOGY)/M.CH.(CTVS) COURSES :
i. Out of total number of seats, 50% seats will be filled-up from bonafide Himachali candidates and In-Service candidates of Himachal Pradesh. 50% seats will be filled-up on all India basis in order of merit.

ii. The candidate must be an Indian National.

iii. The candidate must have passed MBBS and MD/MS in the relevant subject. For D.M. (Cardiology) candidate must have MD in Medicine or Paediatrics and for M.Ch.course candidates have MS in General Surgery or its equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.

iv. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Registration Council.

v. The candidates who have passed MD/MS in 2015 shall be eligible only if they produce a passing out certificate at the time of counselling.

vi. There will be no reservation of seats for any category or group.

vii. The candidate must satisfy himself/herself of their eligibility before applying.

viii. Admission to selected candidates shall be subject to verification of eligibility testimonials by the appropriate authority.

The upper age limit as on 1st July, 2015 for direct group candidates shall be 40 years and for sponsored (GDO In-service) candidates will be 45 years.

xi. Incomplete application-form will be rejected. Photograph should be coloured without goggles & cap, Identifiable and recent i.e. within three month (March, April, May) bearing name and date.

Note: Ineligible candidate(s) need not to apply. The candidate(s) found ineligible at any stage shall have no claim for admission or continuation of D.M./M.Ch.course even if he/she qualifies in the Entrance Test
