IBSAT IBS Admission Test

IBSAT 2024 IBS Admission Test is conducted by ICFAI Business School. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply. IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted on Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Last Date for submission of online application is 3rd week of December 2024.

Eligibility of IBSAT

** Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English.
** All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
** Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31, 2025.
** Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations / viva / assignments) before May 31, 2025.
** The admission will remain provisional until they produce marks sheets and degree certificates establishing their eligibility.
** The last date for submission of proof of graduation is November 01, 2025. Eligibility criteria will be checked from August, 2025 onwards. Hence, the onus of ensuring that they satisfy the eligibility criteria rests solely with the candidate.

Scholarship Opportunity : A total of ₹10 Crore in scholarships will be awarded to 500 qualified candidates, with each scholarship worth ₹2 Lakhs.
Qualification Criteria : Scholarships will be awarded based on the IBSAT 2024 test conducted exclusively on December 28th and 29th 2024

Admission Procedure

The candidates seeking admission to MBA Program at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur and PGPM (Post Graduate Program in Management) program offered by IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune have to appear for IBSAT 2024.

Selection Process of IBSAT

The candidates who qualify on the basis of IBSAT/ GMATTM /CAT/NMAT by GMACTM /XAT are called for selection process in February/March 2025. The final selection is based on performance in Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and the past academic performance (performance in ClassX, ClassXII and graduation).

IBSAT 2024 :
IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted on Computer Based Test (CBT) format by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA/PGPM Program. The test is of 2 hours duration.

Scores from 2022 onwards of GMATTM/ CAT/NMAT by GMACTM /XAT are accepted in place of IBSAT 2024.

Application Procedure of IBSAT

Step 1: Register for IBSAT 2024.
Step 2: Take the IBSAT test or submit scores from CAT / GMAT™ / NMAT by GMAC™ / XAT. (IBSAT is online remote proctored test)
Step 3: Wait for the results announcement and receive an invitation to the selection process if shortlisted.
Step 4: Attend the selection process at the IBS Hyderabad campus. (The selection process consists of Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds)
Step 5: Receive admission confirmation and campus allocation.
