Bharathiar University CET

Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2024 is conducted by Bharathiar University. The Common Eligibility Test application form is only for the admission of regular Ph.D. (Full time/Part time) programmes for the academic year 2024-2025 offered in the University Departments/Affiliated Colleges and Recognized Research Institutions. Candidates should apply for Common Eligibility Test (CET) through the website. Last Date for submission of online application is 02nd June 2024.

Eligibility of Common Eligibility Test

** Candidates having minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree in the respective subject/discipline are eligible to appear for CET – 2024 (for SC/ST Candidates the minimum eligibility is 50 %) and copy of the PG mark statements should be enclosed.
** Candidates securing minimum 15 out of 50 marks are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. programmes.

Application Fee of Common Eligibility Test

Rs. 500/- for all candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST Candidates (Community Certificate should be enclosed)

Required Documents for CET

Before filling the online application, ensure the availability of digital form (soft copy) of the following documents:
1. 10th Mark Sheet, 12th Mark Sheet, UG Mark sheet, PG Marks Statements of all the semester (Those who are studying final semester have to attach first 3/5 semester mark statements) in “PDF” file format not exceeding 200 kb each.
2. A Passport Size Photograph of the applicant (“JPEG” format not exceeding 200kb) is required.
3. Applicant’s signature using Blue/Black pen on white sheet (“JPEG”/”PNG”/”JPG” format not exceeding 50 kb).
4. A valid E-mail ID for the registration process is mandatory for the application process and for receiving all the correspondence.
5. Application Fee payment should be done through online only.
6. Last Date for submission of online application is 02.06.2024 By 11.59 pm.

7. A hard copy of the filled in online application form along with the Certificates should be reached BY POST on or before 07.06.2024 in a closed envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR Ph.D. COMMON ELIGIBILITY TEST – 2024 in (SUBJECT NAME)” to the
Coordinator,
CET 2024,
Department of Mathematics,
Bharathiar University,
Coimbatore – 641 046.
