Patna Women’s College Entrance Test

Applications are invited for admission to the various Programmes being run at Patna Women’s College, Patna for the academic year 2024–2025. Application forms for 2024–2025 will be available on the College website (www.patnawomenscollege.in) from 01.02.2024. Forms to be filled in Online. Appearing candidates of +2/Intermediate or Equivalent Examination also will be eligible for the Entrance Test (for UG Programmes) and Appearing candidates of UG Programmes may also be eligible for Admission to PG Programmes/ PG Diploma Programmes.

Eligibility of Entrance Test

Advertising & Marketing Management (AMM)/ Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA)/ Communicative English and Media Studies (CEMS)/ Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)/ Microbiology (MBIO)/ Bachelor in Mass Communication (BMC) (Hons.):
Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination for the current academic year are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with 50% (General category including BC-I & BC-II/EWS) and 45% for SC & ST only and have the required % of marks at the time of admission.

B.A. & B.Sc. (Hons.):
Must obtain not less than 45% marks in the subject opted for Honours study in the +2 or equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar, with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate. Only those candidates who have passed with Mathematics at the Intermediate/10+2 level are allowed to opt for Economics as their Major Course (MJC).

B. Com. (Hons.):
1. Accounting & Finance
2. Commerce Professional
Should pass the +2 equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar, in Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate.
OR
The Candidates have passed the +2 equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar in Arts or Science with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

** MCA (AICTE Approved) (Self-financed) : Rs. 1,100/-
** B.Com. (Accounting & Finance/Commerce Professional) (Self-financed) : Rs. 1,100/-
** M.A. (Home Sc.) : Rs. 800/-
** M.A. (Geography/English/Applied Psy./Social Work/Political Sc.) (Self-financed) : Rs. 1,100/-
** M.Sc. (Zoology/Physics/Biotechnology) (Self-financed) : Rs. 1,100/-

How to Apply for Entrance Test?

For Registration, Follow the Steps:
1. Select your Programme like U.G., P.G., PG DIPLOMA
2. Based on the Selected Programme list, all Courses will be listed
3. Click on any Course, for example, B.A.
4. Now, under B.A., all departments will be listed
5. Select any of the Department and click on the ‘Apply Now Button’
6. After clicking on the ‘Apply Now Button’ Registration Form will open

Important Instructions :
All fields are mandatory
Step 1. :
** Fill your name as per the 10th Certificate
** Only one email id is used for one application.
** Fill valid phone number & email ID

Step 2. :
a. Please enter your password, enter it again to confirm the password
b. Click on the button “Register Now,”
c. You will receive an email in your registered email I.D.
d. Check your email either in the inbox or in the spam folder
e. In your email, click on “Click Here” for Login

How To Log In:
Enter your “Registration No.” and the “Password” provided in your email id.
Click on the “Login” Button
Note: Registration No. is as: R-xxxx-xxxxx

Note:
1. Once all these information’s are filled, we can preview it and pay the registration amount.
2. Once payment is conformed, you will not get option to edit/change any information. And after login you can download your admit card.

Entrance Test Pattern

The test will be objective type with the use of Blue / Black pen and OMR sheet for B.A. (Main Stream Programmes/Fashion Designing) /B.Sc. (Main Stream Programmes/ (Data Science & Analytics/Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)/B.Com. Accounting & Finance/ B.Com. Commerce Professional /BMC/BCA/CEMS/MBIO/ BBA/AMM/MCA

The pattern of the entrance test will be as follows :-
(a) Full marks : 100
(b) Duration of Exam. : 2 hours
(c) No. of objective questions : 100 each carrying one mark, no negative marking
