MH – Nursing CET
MH-Nursing CET-2024 Entrance Examination for Admission to First Year B.Sc. Nursing, Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) & General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Courses, through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for the academic year 2024-25 will be held at the various examination centers across all major districts in the State of Maharashtra.

Eligibility For MH – Nursing CET
1. All Candidates desirous to take admission for B.Sc Nursing, ANM & GNM Course under state quota or Institutional quota must have appeared for MH- Nursing-CET 2024 and declared eligible by the Competent Authority
2. The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality.
3. Domicile of Candidate: The Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra (Except candidates under clause 4.4, 4.6, 4.13, 4.14 & Annexure – A).
4. Non Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for maximum 15% Institute Quota including NRI Quota seats in the Unaided Private/Minority colleges. Non Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except Institute Quota including NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority colleges, subject to fulfillment of NRI status.
5. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates will be eligible for all seats in Government and Private Unaided Institutes including 15% Institutional Quota seats of Private unaided / Minority college(s) for academic year 2024-25. Provided such candidates have passed 10th & 12th from the State of Maharashtra and should be domicile of Maharashtra State. In compliance of the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 03/02/2024 in WP No 891 of 2021.
6. Eligibility for Institutional Quota: Will be as declared by State Government during CAP process from time to time. The detailed information will be declared in CAP information brochure.
7. All admissions to State / Institutional Quota will be through MH-Nursing-CET only.
8. A candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra (Please refer 4.4, 4.6, 4.13, 4.14 & Annexure – A for exception) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) is eligible to appear for this examination.
9. The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2007 to be eligible for all Nursing courses. The Birth certificate indicating name of the candidate, Secondary School Certificate i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute a valid proof.

Candidates have to submit the online application form for the said examination as per the schedule given in the table below.

How to Register for MH- Nursing CET Exam?
1 Navigate to https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
2 Click “Candidate Registration A.Y 2024-25”
3 Existing user can login with registered email id & password while new user can register themselves
4 For new user, click on ‘Register’
5 Click the “Full Name (As per SSC/HSC marksheet)” field & enter input
6 Click the “Email” field & enter input
7 Click the “Password” field & enter input as per guidelines
8 Click the “Confirm Password” field & enter same input as password field
9 Click the “Mobile Number” field & enter the input
10 Click the “Date of Birth” field and enter the input.
11 Click on ‘Register’ button.
12 On successfully Register submit, a verification email will be sent to entered email id.
13 Click “Verify Email” link to verify your email id
14 After verifying email from link received, a candidate can login to the system with entered mail id & set password.
15 On successful login, a user info form will be opened and candidate has to fill all his details. Note: This details will be user to prefill data required for online examination submission.
16 Click the “Father’s Name (First Name Only)*” field and enter input
17 Click the “Mother’s Name (First Name Only)*” field and enter input
18 Click ‘Gender’ and select input.
19 Click “Religion” & select input
20 Click Region and select input.
21 Click Mother Tongue and select input.
22 Click Nationality & select input.
23 Click Annual Family Income & select input

25 Click the “Address Line 1*” field and enter input.
26 Click the “Address Line 2*” field and enter input

32 If permanent address is same as communication, then select same as Permanent Address checkbox or else enter all inputs manually
33 Select domicile of Maharashtra as Yes or No.
34 Select minority details as Yes or No
35 Select “Linguistic Minority” from the dropdown
36 Select ‘Religious Minority’ from the dropdown
37 Select person with disability as Yes or No
38 Click on ‘Type of Disability’ and select input
39 Select input for ‘SSC or Equivalent Passing Year’
40 Click the “SSC/Equivalent Total Percentage*” field and enter input
41 Select Board for ‘SSC or Equivalent’
42 Select Board for ‘SSC or Equivalent’
43 Select ’12th Appearing or Appeared’ as Yes or No
44 Select year for HSC passing year
45 Select Board for HSC

47 Click the “HSC Marks Obtained*” field and enter input

49 Click the “HSC Calculated/Equivalent Percentage*” field and enter input
50 Click “Save Changes”
51 On successful submission, candidates registration process is completed and will be navigated to candidate’s dashboard.
52 Candidate’s dashboard has options as Registration, Edit Profile, Help Desk, Hall Ticket etc.
53 Click “Registration”, will open a window listing all available exams governed by MHCET.
