POST GRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST (PGET) – 2015 FOR ADMISSION TO
MASTER OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (MPT) & MASTER OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (MOT) COURSES

Application Fee : Rs.1000/- (One Thousand only) for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for SC/ST/PH candidates

The merit list of successful candidates will be made available on SVNIRTAR website on 20.08.2015.
NB: Duly filled in application form should reach along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- Rupees one thousand only) for General/OBC candidates and Rs.900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for SC/ST/PH candidate in favour of “Director, SVNIRTAR” payable at CUTTACK.
The Demand Draft to be made on or after 25.05.2015 will only be accepted

Courses offered by SVNIRTAR. :
Degree courses (Affiliated to Utkal university) :
The regular Long-term courses conducted by SVNIRTAR are as follows:
i. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4years + 6 months Internship)
ii. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (4 years + 6 months Internship)
iii. Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (4 years + 6 months Internship )
Post graduate courses (Affiliated to Utkal university) :
1. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) – 2 years duration, in four specializations i.e.
i. Rehabilitation
ii. Musculoskeletal Conditions
iii. Paediatrics
iv. Neurology
2. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) – 2 years duration, in four specializations i.e i Rehabilitation
ii. Developmental Disabilities
iii. Hand Rehabilitation
iv. Neuro Rehabilitation
3. ELIGIBILITY :
The minimum qualification for admission :
i. MPT Courses – Pass in a full time regular BPT/BSc. (PT) course from any recognized University with completion of all requirements of the degree course including completion of Internship by ( 21.09.2015.)
ii. MOT Courses – Pass in a full time, regular BOT/BSc. (OT) course from any recognized University with completion of all requirements of the Degree course including completion of internship by ( 21.09.2015).
4. SEATS AVAILABLE AT SVNIRTAR :
** Master of Physiotherapy (Rehabilitation) – 2 seats
** Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Conditions) – 5 seats
** Master of Physiotherapy (Paediatrics) – 4 seats
** Master of Physiotherapy (Neurology) – 4 seats
** Master of Occupational Therapy (Rehabilitation) – 2 seats
** Master of Occupational Therapy (Developmental Disabilities) – 5 seats
** Master of Occupational Therapy (Hand Rehabilitation) – 4 seats
** Master of Occupational Therapy (Neuro Rehabilitation) – 4 seats
5. RESERVATION :
** Reservation to SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Central Govt. norms.
** However, the candidates must appear in Entrance Test -2015 and qualify according to the minimum norms applicable to them.
** In case of non-availability of qualified candidates under one category (SC/ST) the vacant seats, will be filled-up from the other category (SC/ST), in order of merit.
** One seat will be reserved for candidates from North Eastern State.
** In case of Non-availability of qualified candidates from North Eastern States, the vacant seats will be filled up with qualified candidates under general category (GC) in order of merit.

6. POST GRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST-2015 :
All the above seats shall be filled through entrance Test conducted by the Institute. Indian nationals residing in India or abroad seeking admission as per eligibility are required to appear the ENTRANCE TEST, PGET-2015. The test will carry 100 marks. Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
