Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test

Candidates will be selected for admission to B.Tech. Programme of all branches of study based on the merit in the qualifying examination and the marks scored in the Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT-2024). Candidates having a valid score in JEE (Main) will be directly selected for admission. Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education alone are eligible to apply. Candidates can make the payment of application fee by Online Payment or Demand Draft or Counter Payment.

Eligibility For B.Tech. Programme of CIEAT

** Admission to B.Tech. Degree Programme is based on the performance of the candidate in Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT) and in the qualifying examination. Candidates having valid score in JEE Main are exempted from CIEAT

** Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT) is conducted in major cities all over India during the 4th week of April, every year
** The result of CIEAT is published in the Institute website
** Candidates are called for counselling based on their merit in the CIEAT and in the qualifying examination or JEE main score
** Candidates should have passed 12th standard examination conducted by State Board / CBSE / ISC or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
** Candidates should have appeared for the Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2024) or should have a valid score in JEE (Main).
** Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education alone are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates date of birth should fall on or after 1st July 2002.

How to Apply for CIEAT?

Steps for Completing the Online Application
1 Register – Fill the online registration form
2 Online Application – Complete the online application
3 Make Payment – Make payment & Submit
4 Preview – Preview your Application details

Registration Instructions :
** Read through the Terms and Conditions and click on the I Agree button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
** Type the information required in the online application form under Register tab. Please do not forget to fill in the fields marked (*) as these are mandatory fields.
** Click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page.
** On the next screen, choose password and click on the Submit button to register.
** The next screen will display your unique ID.

** After successful registration, you will get an e-mail containing your ID and Password. Use this ID for all future correspondence with B.S.Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Use this ID and password to login and make any modifications to the details in your application form.

** Click on ‘Make Payment’ option to choose your payment mode and proceed with the transaction.

** Application fee is non refundable & non transferable.
** Candidates can make the payment of application fee by Online Payment or Demand Draft or Counter Payment.

1. Payment by DD :
Get a demand draft for Rs. 1000/-in favour of B.S.Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, payable at Chennai.
Choose the mode of Payment as DD in “Make Payment” Tab and click “Submit”. Take a print of the payment advice form, sign & send it along with the DD (write your Name and ID at the backside of the DD) and print out of Application to
