MITDAT MIT DAT Design Aptitude Test
MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test) 2024, is conducted jointly for admissions of B.Des & M.Des programs at MIT ID Pune (MIT ADT University) Pune, MIT ID Indore (Avantika University) Indore, MIT ID Shillong (MIT University Shillong), MITID Solapur (MIT Vishwaprayag University). MIT DAT is conducted primarily to evaluate and shortlist eligible candidates aspiring to pursue Undergraduate (B. Des), Post Graduate program (M. Des) at flagship institutes under the umbrella of MIT Group of Institutes Pune providing quality education in the field of design.

Admission Process of MIT DAT Design Aptitude Test
PHASE 1: MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test)
** MIT DAT is a common entrance exam for admissions in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at MIT Institute of Design Pune, Avantika University Ujjain and MIT University Shillong.
** It is conducted at various centres across the country, View List of Test Cetres. MITID reserves its right to change or cancel any of these centres. Based on scores obtained from DAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for second phase.
PHASE 2: Studio Test and Personal Interview
** Studio Test and Personal Interview is conducted at MITID campus in Pune. The second phase of the admission procedure will consist of studio tests followed by personal interviews at Institute in Pune.
** The result of shortlisted candidates for the Second Phase will be announced on MITID website.
** No separate call letters will be sent to the shortlisted candidates. All those candidates called for the second phase are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection.
** The Admission Committee decides the procedures, grades and weightage every year.
** The norms for the selection are the sole prerogative of the Admission Committee and the decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final.
** Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate(s).
How to Apply for MIT DAT Design Aptitude Test?
Registration for MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test)
Step 1: Register for MITDAT
Step 2: Verify your mobile number for registration
Step 3: Activate your account by verifying your OTP
Step 4: Provide the required details in the application form.
Step 5: Proceed to payment option and pay Rs 3000 for Indian applicants and and Rs 4500 for NRI, PIO, CIO and Foreign Nationals, Online through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card
Step 6: Upload the passport size photograph & required documents, accept the declaration and submit the online application form.
Step 7: On scrutiny, verification and acceptance of application form, Admit card will be generated by 02nd or 03rd week of March and Candidates can download the Admit Card by login to his/ her profile on MIT DAT portal.
