Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission

Applications are invited for Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG – 2024) to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from the candidates who seek admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the academic year 2024-2025 offered at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University and Government Aided Engineering Colleges only. Technical Institutions funded by Central Government affiliated to Anna University may also join in this admission process. Self-Financing Engineering Colleges may also use CEETA-PG score for their admission process.

Eligibility of CEETA-PG

(a) A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained atleast 50% (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu)in the qualifying degree examination.
(i) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes
(or)
(ii) B.Pharm. Degree Programmes
(or)
(iii) Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed.
(b) (i) 10 + 2 + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience
(or)
(ii) 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience

Entrance Test Fee of CEETA-PG

** Entrance Test Fee – Only through Online
SC/SCA/ST of Tamil Nadu – Rs.900/-* + GST on Counselling fee of Rs.400/-
Others – Rs.1800/-* + GST on Counselling fee of Rs.800/-
(* inclusive of Counselling Charges for admission)

Mode Of Study for CEETA-PG

Full-Time :
Candidates admitted under ‘Full-Time’ should be available in the department during working hours for the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Candidates should not attend any other Full-Time Programme(s) / Course(s) or take up any Full-Time Job / Part-Time Job in any institution or company during the period of the programme. Violation of the above rules will result in termination from programme.

Part-Time :
Part-Time candidates will not be permitted to convert to Full-Time Mode during the course of study.

e. Mark sheets of All Semesters/Consolidated Mark sheet(applicable only for graduated students) (Copy of both sides should be uploaded). or Mark Sheets till Previous Semester for final semester/ year students
f. Transfer Certificate. (Applicable only for graduated students).
g. Differently abled or Disability Certificate (If Applicable).
h. Nativity Certificate (If Applicable).
i. Experience Certificate (only for AMIE).
j. Copy of Identification certificate (only for Srilankan Tamil Refugees).
