GMCET Global Media Common Entrance Test

GMCET 2024 is a national level entrance test that offers admission to the various Undergraduate Media programs and Courses – BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication), BA-JMC( Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication), BMS (Bachelor Management studies), BMC(Bachelor of Mass Communication), BMM(Bachelor of Mass Media) in its Various Participating Universities. Last date of Registration is 2nd December 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of GMCET

UG Course (BA-JMC, BJMC, BMS, BMC & BMM): The Candidates must have a minimum education qualification of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for General Category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC or should be appearing for the same in 2024.

A candidate with a three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

Application Fee of Global Media Common Entrance Test

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1000/- to be able to take up the examination. The candidature of an individual will be confirmed only after the payment of the application fee.

How To Register for GMCET?

** The application form for GMCET 2024 can be filled online only through the official portal.
** Candidates will have to fill the application with all the relevant and valid information after making sure that they satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for the examination. The application form will not be available in any other mode.

1. Visit the official website (https://gmcet.org/)
2. Register for the examination by providing all the required details and make sure that they are valid and correct.
3. An automated email with Username & Password will be sent to your registered email ID/Phone Number for future references.
4. After logging in to the portal, complete the payment by clicking on Pay Now.
5. Proceed to the payment portal and choose Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI as per your choice (Application Fee-1000/-).
6. After successful completion, you would receive the Application form summary on your GMCET profile page as well as on your registered email ID. Download the Application form summary & save it for future references.

Guidelines for GMCET Exam

** As per growing requests by students, we have facilitated the conduct of the exam online. To attempt the exam, candidates can use Mobile or Laptop or Desktop as per their choice.
** Candidates are advised to read the guidelines before attempting the exam.
** Candidates can log in to the examination system using their registered mobile number.
** The GMCET 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode and you can appear it from your mobile, laptop or desktop.
** There will be 100 MCQ with One Correct Answer, to be attempted in 60 minutes.
** For Laptop/Desktop login, Candidates are requested to visit the link:- https://testfromhome.in/sign-in
** Candidates would be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, however, there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
** Candidates are requested to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination.
** For Mobile login, Candidates are requested to download the app.
** In order to avoid any malicious activities during the exam, our experts will be continuously monitoring through cameras, sounds & browser activities. The screens are continuously being recorded during the entire exam duration.
