SRM SRMJEEE (UG) B.Tech Admission
For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. For few programs, admission is done directly. In addition to the above, the eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as well. Admission is done through Entrance examination, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as well.

Eligibility for B.Tech / M.Tech Integrated Programs Under Regular Stream
Nationality :
Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.
Age :
Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination:
Applicant should have passed in Higher secondary examination (10, +2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with a minimum of 60% aggregate ( 3 subjects) in Physics (mandatory) , Mathematics (mandatory) and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular subjects in regular stream from any board within India , CBSE , ISCE , Matriculation , IB or NIOS
Note:
** For B.Tech Programs offered by the Department of Biotechnology, Department of Genetic Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering – Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM / PMB/PCB/PCB or Z (Botany or Zoology). Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech.
** Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
** Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year.

Instructions :
** All fields marked with* in the application form are mandatory to be filled.
** Please keep the following self-attested scanned documents ready before filling the application form:
Photograph Image: Size should be 200 X 230 pixels, 5 MB
Signature Image: Size should be 140 X 60 pixels, 5 MB
** After successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated. Save that number for future reference and communications.
** Course/Campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counseling based on SRMJEEE – All India Rank and availability of seats.
** The online application is for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Delhi – NCR Campus – Ghaziabad (UP), Vadapalani and Tiruchirappalli), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, AP – Andhra Pradesh.
** The exam Fee is Rs.1200/ – for each phase and it is Non-Refundable. There would be 2 different phases of SRMJEEE conducted. If the candidate wishes to take the SRMJEEE exam more than once, he/she can fill the required application form with respect to each phase.
** Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances. Kindly ensure the email ID provided is correct and accurate since all the admission related communications will be addressed to the provided email ID.
** NRI/PIO/OCI candidates are also eligible to apply.
** Program preference is collected for statistical purposes only. The student would be given an opportunity to select the campus, program, and specialization of their choice at the time of counseling.
** The student should have their 10thmark statement ready to enter their registration number and other details.

What is the mode of Examination?
Ans: Mode of Examination will be online (Remote Proctored Online Mode). The student can write the exam from home. The student can attempt the test with desktop or laptop. The student cannot write the exam using Mobile Phone. The test will be AI monitored, as well as proctors and super proctors will be present. The detailed instructions regarding system configuration, Internet speed will be mailed to the students and will be available in the website one week before the exam.
How many slots will be available per day during the exam dates?
Ans: There will be three slots per day during the exam dates. When the slot booking is open (tentatively 2 days before the start of exam), the student can book convenient slots. Once the slot is booked, the student can download the Hall Tickets.
Are there any mock tests conducted?
Ans: Yes, there will be a mock test conducted before the main exam. Mock Test can be taken by the students at their convenience.
