Counselling & On-The-Spot-Admission Session :
The counseling sessions will be conducted at JSS University, JSS Medical Institutions Campus, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagar, Mysore – 570 015, Karnataka.
The date will be displayed on the University Website later.
FOR COUNSELLING ON THE SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME WILL RESULT IN INSTANTANEOUS CANCELLATION OF CLAIM OF THE CANDIDATE TO THE SEAT; it shall be candidate’s responsibility to see the result of JSSU rank list.
** The candidate should remain present for the counseling and for on-the-spotadmission, as per the schedule displayed on Website and notice board, even though he / she fail to receive any information letter, for any reason from the University.
** To ensure fairness to the merited students and eliminate fraudulent attempts, it is planned to use biometric (finger print) identification at various stages of counselling process and this would be done at the discretion of the University.
** Only the candidate and one of his parents / guardian will be allowed into the hall where counseling is held. The candidates will be called in the order of their ranking in the merit list and offered the seats to the BDS course available at that point of time. The candidate will be allowed to choose admission to the course if a seat is available when his / her turn comes.
** The candidate must note that appearance for the examination and inclusion of name in the Merit List does not necessarily mean that he / she will get admission to the course. His / her admission to the course will depend upon the availability of seats at the time of counseling.
** At the time of reporting for the counseling, the candidate is required to produce the documents (original and two sets of photocopies) list mentioned above. If the candidate is admitted to the course, these documents will be retained by the University till he / she completes the course. If the candidate fails to produce all or any of the documents listed above he / she will instantaneously forfeit his / her claim for a seat.
** The JSS University website jssuni.edu.in is updated regularly. The JSS University suggests all candidates to visit it frequently for relevant information.
List of original documents required while reporting for Counseling :
At the time of counseling, you are required to produce the following documents in original; failure to do so will result in instantaneous cancellation of your claim for admission. You are also required to submit three attested photocopies of each of these documents.
** S.S.L.C./Equivalent examination marks card.
** P.U.C./ 10+2 / Equivalent examination marks card
** Conduct/Character and Transfer certificate issued by the college last studied.
** Date of birth certificate if not mentioned in the SSLC/Equivalent examination marks card.
** Caste / community certificate.(The certificate issued by competent authority for candidates claiming lower eligibility under SC / ST / Category – I / OBC categories.
** Transfer certificate for Karnataka board candidates.
** Migration Certificate issued by the Board /University (Other than Karnataka Board Students)
** Six recent, identical passport-size colour photographs with name and date.
** An affidavit in the format signed by you and countersigned by your Parent/guardian in the presence of Notary Public on a stamp paper of Rs.50/- (minimum)-ANNEXURE-II
** DD’s (of Nationalized Bank) for Tuition fees drown in favour of: “The Principal, JSS Dental College, Mysore”, payable at Mysore.

Eligibility to attend casual round of counseling :
1. The Candidates who have attended the 1st and subsequent rounds of counseling and have been either allotted a seat or waitlisted are eligible to attend casual round of counseling.
2. The Candidates who have attended other entrance test of All India status – 2015 and have secured eligibility are also eligible to attend casual round of
counseling (admission will be subject to MCI approval, 1st preference would be to the candidates who are on JSSU PGET 2015 Merit list)
3. All other eligible candidates interested to join for the seats available (mentioned above) can also attend the casual round of counseling.(Admission subject to MCI approval.)
