BA / BBA, B.Com(Hons) :

School of Liberal Studies conducts its own national entrance exam for students interested in taking admission for the undergraduate and post graduate programme.

The admission process consists of written test followed by personal interview.

The written test evaluates the applicant’s competence in the following areas:
English, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Essay Writing.

Application forms of 2015 Admissions for BA (Hons.) / BBA (Hons.) / B.Com. (Hons.) intake are now being accepted.

Eligibility :
The students seeking admissions to B.A. (Hons.)/B.B.A. (Hons.) are required to have passed 12th standard examination from any discipline, while those who seek admissions to B.Com. (Hons.) are required to have passed 12th standard examination from Commerce stream or should have studied commerce related subjects in 12th standard.

BA / BBA (Hons.) :
** During the initial years of undergraduate program, the students get exposure to around 30 subjects ranging from Communication Skills, Basic Science, Social Sciences, Management, Humanities and Performing Arts.

** The last years of the program focus on the major and minor subjects of the students’ choice.

** interdisciplinary nature of the course equips students with a skill set that enables them to explore multiple career options.

** Besides the UGC recognized degrees awarded (based on the selection of major areas of study), the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University will also award a Diploma in Liberal Arts.

B.Com.(Hons.) :
** As the global market is becoming volatile and more demanding every day, career opportunities are also expanding and are becoming more demanding.

** Mere discipline focused knowledge is not enough; one is required to develop holistic understanding of the world through interdisciplinary pursuit and industry-academia interface.

** In the era of globalization, any endeavor in commerce or business would surely be impacted by international influences.

** Economy of a country, Financial issues, Trade Policies, Culture, Demography and Geography of the country influence commercial activities.

** Exploring Bachelor of Commerce with interdisciplinary focus would expand the horizontal as well as vertical opportunities in career for the students and would enable them to bring applied research aspect to the industry.

** There is a common application form for B.A./B.B.A. (Hons.) / B.Com.(Hons.) programs.
** On successful submission of the application form, you will receive an email with a username (your email address will be the username) and password, which you can use for subsequent logins.
** The University will not be responsible if your password is misused by any other person.
** All fields marked with a * are mandatory.
** You will need to keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before filling in the form:
Latest passport size color photograph
Mark sheet of XII standard (If applicable)
Caste Certificate (If applicable)
Certificate of Disability (for Physically Handicapped) (If applicable)
** File size of each document should not exceed 200 KB. Allowed file formats are .pdf, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .bmp, .png.
** After filling in the required information, you will be directed to a third party payment gateway to pay the application fees of Rs. 1,200/-. You may pay using a credit/debit card or net-banking facility provided by your bank. Please confirm with your bank/credit card company that the transaction has been successfully completed.
