Aryabhatta Knowledge University Act 2008 provides for the establishment of University at Patna to conduct and facilitate affiliation of institutions in the conventional as well new frontiers of professional education.

All colleges and institutions imparting professional education for example Engineering and Technology including information Technology, Nano technology & Biotechnology, Management, Medicine, Health technology, Public Health Pharmacy, Optometry, Nursing, Education, Law etc. is to be affiliated to this university.

Guidelines for Admission

Offline/ Online application form has to download/fill on University website akubihar.ac.in | akuexam.net.

The offiline/online filled application form (Printed /downloaded) must be sent with the Paytm-Receipt / Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for SC/ST/PWD candidates only, issued from any nationalized bank, in favour of “AKU, REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION FUND” payable at Patna.

Along with self attested photo copy of all the certificates must reach to: The Controller of Examination, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, CNLU, Campus, Mithapur, Patna – 800 001 . (Bihar) on or before the last date for receipt of the form through Speed post/Registered post only/Proper Medium.

Eligibility

For B.Ed :
** The candidate with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification/ examination recognised by the Academic Council of Aryabhatta Knowledge Universtiy equivalent there to be eligible for admission to the programme.

For M.Ed :
** Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. Programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:
(i) B.Ed.
(ii) B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed.
(iii) B.El.Ed.
(iv) D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).
Note:
1. Candidate belongs to SC/ST/PWD Category are eligible for relaxation of 05% marks in the programmes mentioned above.

2. Appearing Candidates may also apply for the joint entrance examination with the condition that “their result must be announced before the date of admission announced by the university; else his/her candidature will be cancelled automatically without any information.
** No applicant shall be admitted, who has not applied for the admission within notified time or who, on being selected for admission, does not get himself admitted within the specified time, except where the delay has been condoned by the Competent authority.
** The reservation in seats shall be given as per the rules of the Government of Bihar.
** Relaxation in the qualifying marks in favour of the reserved categories shall be as per the rules of the State Government.
** Candidates belong to other than Bihar State shall not be given benefits of reservation policies. They will be treated as a candidate of general category.

** Offline/Online filled Printed/Downloaded forms with required documents shall be submitted only through Registered/Speed Post/ Proper Medium before the Last date of receipt at To, The Controller of Examinations , Aryabhatta Knowledge University, CNLU Campus, Mithapur, Patna – 800 001 . Hence, send the online printed application well-inadvance so that it shall be received before the Last date. University will not be held responsible for any postal delay.

Online Filling of Registration Form

** The Entrance Examination fee is to be paid through Paytm OR Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,500/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates only, issued from any nationalized bank, in favour of “AKU, REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION FUND” payable at Patna before online registration.

** Select New Registration then Institute -Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna
** BE READY WITH YOUR DD NUMBER / PAYTM ORDER NO (e-RECEIPT)
** May sure that you are using IE or Mozilla Firefox as browser to fill the Online Form. Don’t use Mobile as medium to fill the form.
** The Size of the Photo and Signature should be in between 10kb and 20kb only. The width and height of photo should be of 145px X 168px and of Signature should be of 168 px X 57px. [px : pixels]
** Please fill all the required information(fields) before submitting the online registration form.

** After submitting please take print out of the Registration Form and send the form duly supported with the attested photo copies of the documents and Paytm eReceipt OR Demand Draft(DD)[write your name, mobile no., Acknowledge No at the back of the e-Receipt/DD] must reach to: To, The Controller of Examinations, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, CNLU, Mithapur, Patna – 800 001 . (Bihar) on or before the last date for receipt of the form through Speed post/Registered post in one sealed Envelope.

** Please must write “Entrance Test 2018-20” and ‘Programme applying for’ on top of the Envelope in BLOCK LETTER.
