GSD Entrance Exam Admission

Admission to the program offered at The Gurukul School of Design, Jaipur (GSD), is subject to complete adherence of the following guidelines and processes set for the Academic Year 2018-19.

Every candidate is expected to abide by these guidelines for mutual convenience and smooth evaluation.

Eligibility

1. Students currently in 12th Grade (10+2) from any discipline are eligible to apply. Visit our website gurukulschoolofdesign.com.
2. To secure an admission at GSD for the Session 2018-19 (Batch 2018-2022), clearing 12th Grade is mandatory though provisional applications are accepted.
3. Fluency in English language is preferred, for you to cope with the academic rigor & international exposure.
4. Applicants should be between 17-25 years of age, as of October 1, 2018.

Admission Process

1. Applications to GSD are to be made only online at gurukulschoolofdesign.com.
2. All the fields in the Application Form must to be filled with current information of the applicant.
3. Application Fees of Rs. 3500/- is to be remitted online. The Application Fee is not refundable.
4. Only the Completed Application Forms submitted with Full Payment of the Application Fees, on or before the Last Date of Application will be considered.
5. Last Date for Application will be published in the Calendar and Information Section on the GSD website. Students are expected to update themselves with the dates on timely basis.
6. The GSD Home Exam (Self Portrait and Creative Essay) should be submitted online with the Application Form.
7. Please note applicants who are called for the Personal Interview and Situational Exam are required to carry a hard copy of their Home Exam (Self Portrait and Creative Essay).
8. GSD conducts its own entrance exam which consists of two parts.
o Home Exam (Self-Portrait and Creative Essay to be submitted online).
o Situation Exam (Conducted at Exam Centre).
9. Only the Applicants who have successfully cleared the Home Exam will be considered for the Situation Exam.
10. The Situation Exam will be held at dedicated centres which will be published on the Calendar and Information Section on the GSD website. Students are expected to update themselves with the location of their centre on timely basis.

12. It is mandatory for all applicants to clear both the parts of the GSD Entrance Exam to be eligible for an admission in Academic Year 2018-19.
13. Results for both parts of the GSD Entrance Exam will be sent to applicants at the email address provided in the application form.
14. Plagiarism or Cheating in any submitted assignment for the GSD Entrance Exam will not be tolerated, applicants found guilty will be disqualified immediately and will not be eligible to apply in the subsequent year.
15. Missing the GSD Situation Exam dates or not carrying a copy of the interview call email and valid ID proof during the exam will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
16. The applicant’s performance in both parts of the GSD Entrance Exam will determine their admission at GSD.
17. To secure admission, the entire fee amount as per demand letter shall be deposited within due date. If payments are not made before the due date, the seat will be offered to the next wait-listed candidate.
18. It is mandatory for applicants to submit a hard-copy of their passport, valid ID proof, medical certificate & declaration, school/college certificate and 12th Grade mark-sheet at the GSD admissions office in Jaipur at the time of admission.
19. The validity of these documents and responsibility of correct/accurate information lies solely with the applicant.
20. Only applicants who have paid the Registration Fee in full and have submitted all the above mentioned documents, will be given admission for the Academic Year 2018-19 at GSD.
21. GSD reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage of the process. If the information provided by the applicant is found to be incorrect or inaccurate, it should be understood that no fees will be reimbursed.
22. Cost of travelling/boarding/lodging for students or guardians shall be borne by self.
