MBA (Executive) Entrance Test :

This is for the information of the candidates in particular and public in general that the University will hold MBA (Executive) Entrance Test – 2017 for admission to University School of Open Learning (USOL), Suraj Bhan Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh on 16th July 2017 (Sunday).

The Prospectus (including Application Form) is available online on Panjab University Website mbausol.puchd.ac.in from 13th June 2017. Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan is 05-07-2017. Detailed instructions for submission of online Application Form are available on the Panjab University website.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITION FOR MBA (EXECUTIVE) :
(i) A Bachelor‘s Degree in any discipline of Panjab University or a degree of any other University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate;

Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelor‘s degree of the University through Modern Indian Language [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script)] and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together.
Or

(ii) A pass in final examination conducted by the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England and (c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Or

(iii) AMIE examination with 50% marks or more after having passed the diploma examination with 60% marks or above and have at least 5 years research/teaching or professional experience.

Concession of 5% marks will be given in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.

STEPS TO FOLLOW :
** Read Prospectus carefully.
** Register Online. [last date for registration: July 05, 2017 (Wednesday)].
** Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also).
** Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login id and password).
** Deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip. [last date for submission of fee in any SBI branch: July 07, 2017 (Friday)].

** Login again after 24 Hrs. of depositing fee and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information. Complete each section ( Profile, Academic Qualification) carefully and lock each section. (Once you lock the section, you will not be allowed to change information in that section). [last date for completion of form: July 10, 2017 (Monday)]

** Download your Admit Card after July 12, 2017 (Wednesday). (Bring one photo identity proof like Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc. at the Examination centre failing which the candidate will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall.)

SC/ST/PwD Category Rs. 1050/-

NOTE :
** The fee for the Entrance Test once paid shall not be refunded.

** If more than 24 Hrs. have passed after printing the fee slip and your details are not found in bank for despositing fee, write to mbaoffcampus[AT]pu.ac.in mentioning your problem along with application no., name and date of birth.

** Candidates who will avail the concession in Entrance Test fee under the category SC/ST/PwD OR P.U. Class B/C Regular Employee must send the copy of printout of their Entrance Test Form along with the self attested copy of Category Certificate/ Proforma for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees (“B” and “C” Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to

** Mere login id creation OR deposit of fee does not mean that candidate has completed his/her online form. Incomplete form leads to cancellation of candidature. Any request for completion of form after due date will not be entertained at all.

Admit Card will be available for downloading from the website by the candidate using his/her own Login ID and Password provided while generating Bank Challan. The candidates will be communicated through email only for this purpose. July 12, 2017 (Wednesday)
7. Date & Time of Entrance Test July 16, 2017 (Sunday)
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
