ADMISSION NOTICE : (2015-17)
** Utkal University announces admission to the two year full time MBA (Financial Management) formerly ‘MFC’ Programme in the P. G. Department of Commerce for the academic session 2015-17.

** Any graduate (First Bachelor Degree) with 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST) of Utkal University or any recognized University is eligible to apply.

** Students appearing in the final Degree examination can make a provisional application pending publication of results subject to meeting minimum eligibility requirements at the time of interview.

** Admission to the course is based on the combined result of Written Test, Group Discussion & Personality Test.

** The Prospectus and Application form can be downloaded from utkaluniversity.ac.in and utkalmfc.org from 05.05.2015.

** The filled up form should be accompanied by two Bank Drafts, one in favour of the “Comptroller of Finance, Utkal University “for Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only) and the other In favour of “Co-ordinator, MBA (Financial Management), Utkal University, Bhubaneswar” for Rs. 350/- (Three hundred fifty only) payable at any Nationalized Bank in Bhubaneswar.

** The last date of submission of application form is 25.05.2015.

ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY :
** 40 students shall be admitted to the MBA (Financial Management) formerly ‘MFC’ course in each academic session.
** Any graduate (First Bachelor Degree) with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) of Utkal University or of any recognized university is eligible to apply.
** Students appearing in the Final Degree Examination 2015 can make a provisional application pending publication of results subject to meeting the minimum eligibility requirement at the time of interview.
** Selection of candidates for the MBA (Financial Management) formerly ‘MFC’ course will be based on Entrance Test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
** An Entrance test (objective multiple choice type) will be conducted by the Department of Commerce of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

The test will be of 2 hours duration consisting of four sections of 50 questions each, as detailed below:
Section – (I) Test of English Language
Section – (II) Test of Numerical Aptitude
Section – (III) Data Analysis and Interpretation
Section – (IV) Test of Business and Financial Environment

** On the basis of test performance, the shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion & psychological test followed by personal interview.
** Candidates called for written test and interview shall appear at their own cost.
** In all matters relating to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final.

COURSE FEES :
** MBA (Financial Management) formerly ‘MFC’ being a self financed course, students are required to pay Rs. 80,000/- (As course fee for two years) at the time of admission.
** In addition, they have to meet on their own, the expenses relating to summer training.
** University examination, study tour, field visit, seminar/workshops, placement activity, annual day celebration, personality development programmes, career counseling, alumni fee and other related activities through their seminars.

INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Copies of certificates and mark-sheets of examinations passed, should be attached to the application form. Candidates awaiting their final result should submit the same within 7 days of the publication of the result, latest by 25.06.2015.

2. All original certificates & mark sheets should be produced at the time of Viva-voce & admission.

3. All admissions are provisional and subject to the approval of Utkal University.

4. Any miss-information, if found, shall lead to cancellation of selection/admission.

5. All fees payable at the time of admission are non refundable.
