Diploma in Nursing For Women :

Applications are invited from citizen of India and native of Tamil Nadu for admission to Diploma in Nursing course for 2016 –2017 session in Government Medical Colleges/Nursing Training centres in the state of Tamil Nadu through single window system.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age and should not have completed 35 years as on 31.12.2016.

2. (a) Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board/ any other equivalent board.
(b) Candidates who have already completed Diploma in Nursing Course are not eligible to apply.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY MARKS:
a) OC/BC/BCM and MBC/DNC Candidates
A pass in Higher Secondary Course with 40% of aggregate of marks.
b) SC/SCA/ST Candidates:
A pass in Higher Secondary Course.

3. Candidate should have studied with Tamil as the First Language.

ISSUE OF APPLICATION FORMS WITH PROSPECTUS:
The Application form with Prospectus will be issued only at the following Government Medical Colleges/Government Nursing Training Centres on all days from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. (except Sunday and Government Holidays) as per the following schedule.

Application forms will not be issued in the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai-10.

The Candidates can obtain the application form on a written requisition to the Deans/Principals and Joint Directors of the above Training Centres duly enclosing a crossed Demand Draft from any Nationalized bank dated not earlier than 04.09.2016 payable at Chennai in favour of “THE SECRETARY, SELECTION COMMITTEE, KILPAUK, CHENNAI 10” towards the cost of application form with Prospectus.
