Online Allotment Process :

The Counseling for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H Course under 15% All India Quota seats shall be conducted by a Veterinary Counseling Committee(VCC) appointed by the Veterinary Council of India and the decision of the Committee in respect of seat allotment shall be final.

The seats will be allotted to candidates as per their rank, choice, availability, reservation policy, etc.

The selection of candidates for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H. degree course under 15% All-India Quota shall be applicable to the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State).

The eligibility criteria, various documents etc. of the candidate shall be verified by the allotted College at the time of reporting/ admission and the decision of the college in the matter shall be final.

Counseling Process:

The allotment of Seats shall be made through ONLINE and ONSPOT Counseling as follows:
1st and 2nd Round – Through online
3rd Round OnSpot by Personal Appearance
The Counseling shall be conducted on the basis of AIPVT Result 2016.

New Candidate’s Registration for AIPVT Counseling:
During this step, the candidates who have been placed in Merit List/ Eligible for Wait List in AIPVT-2016 result on the basis of their score in All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)-2016 are eligible to take part in All India Counseling and are required to register through Internet at aipvt.vci.nic.in from places of their convenience.

Detailed procedure is described below:
The candidates declared eligible for counseling would be required to click on “Candidate Login New” Link.

For new registration click on “New User Registration Here!!” link.
** The candidate is required to enter the Roll Number, Registration Number, Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name & Date of Birth exactly same as given in his/her AIPVT – 2016 Confirmation Page/Admit card.

** Password should be as per the password policy shown during the New User Registration process. Please remember this password for continuation of the process of registration, choice filling and choice locking.

** This password or changed password (if any carried out by the candidate) must be noted and remembered till the completion of Online Allotment Admission Process.

Note: The VCC and NIC will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of forgotten password/misuse of password.

The password policy is as under:
Your password must be 8-13 character long.
Your password must contain at least:
** One capital letter (A-Z),
** One small letter (a-z),
** One numeric (0-9),
** One special character (@#$&)
You will also be shown the above and guided about the process while creating your password.

The Candidate will get One Time Password (OTP) for completing registration process on mobile number which candidate shall furnish in this window. Please keep your mobile readily available with you.

If you click on Submit button then the following window will appear and candidate is required to click on “I Agree” to proceed

The above data submitted by candidate is verified against the candidate’s detail available with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). If it matches, then, Candidate would be allowed access for updating of the candidate’s profile along with selection of individual password.

In case of any mismatch, the candidate would not be allowed to access the online counseling website. In case of genuine candidates, who could not register for the online counseling, the candidates should approach to VCC Control

For Initialization of (to reset) wrongly filled Information. Room for recovery of the correct information on production of individual identity and other credentials during registration period only.
