** Counselling Dates: 18th, 19th and 20th June 2016.
** Counselling Venue locations, timings as per rank and schedule of counselling will be put up shortly in the website ampai.in.

The Counselling of CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB for admission to Undergraduate Courses in first year B.Tech and B.Pharm shall be an offline process, where the candidates shall be required to report at the Counselling Reporting Centres in person with proper documents as per directed in Counselling Schedule (to be uploaded shortly) and adhering to the norms mentioned in Counselling Guidelines and then receive an allotment of one seat based on availability of seats and respective merit position.

The counselling of CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB will be conducted for admission to the following self-financed institutes in the state of West Bengal for the academic session beginning 2016-20:
1. JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, West Bengal
2. Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara. Kolkata
3. Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Sodepur, Kolkata
4. Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, Sodepur, Kolkata
5. Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College, Dumdum, Kolkata

The aforesaid institutes are affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), a public state University in West Bengal. All the said institutes have the necessary accreditations and recognitions from regulatory authorities like NAAC, NBA, AICTE etc..

The Counselling for CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB merit listed candidates for admission to B.Tech/B.Pharm course in five Engineering/Pharmaceutical Colleges (listed above) in West Bengal will be held at the following locations. Eligible candidates are instructed to report to the counselling centre(s) on the date assigned to them as per their rank. Please refer to the Counselling Schedule (to be uploaded shortly) for details.

** Exact Venue Locations are to be announced shortly on ampai.in . Counselling venues may get changed in the last moment if there is any exigency.

** Candidates are directed to report to any one of the Counselling Centres on the assigned date as per their rank mentioned in the Counselling Schedule (to be uploaded shortly), get their documents verified and wait for their turn to be called for choosing the institute and branch/stream, based on available options as per candidate’s eligibility and merit position.

** Each candidate will be allowed to select only one seat in the available institute(s) and stream(s) and they will be provided a seat allotment letter, containing the respective seat allotment details. Candidates who do not select any institute at this time shall not be provided any allotment letter.

** Candidates who get a seat allotment letter at the CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB counselling venue then must report to the provisional admission cell at the same Counselling Centre and submit a demand draft of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) in favour of “AMPAI”, payable at Kolkata, for provisional booking of their allotted seat.

** A candidate, who takes provisional admission by reporting at any Counselling Reporting Center and wants to cancel his/her allotted seat, must personally submit a written letter addressed to the Convenor, CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB within 24 hours of allotment of the seat. No request of refund of provisional admission fee will be entertained.

Important Documents to be carried to the Counselling Centre:
Candidates are hereby instructed to carry the following documents to the Counselling Reporting Centre:
1. Duly Filled up Counselling Form of CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB (available atampai.in)
2. CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB Admit Card & Rank Card.
3. DD of Rs.200/- in favour of “AMPAI”, payable at Kolkata.
4. Original & 1 set Xerox of Class X & XII standard admit & mark sheets.
5. Students interested to take provisional admission in their allotted seats must also submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) in favour of “AMPAI”, payable at Kolkata.

Candidates are also advised to go through the Counselling Guidelines notification carefully and abide by the instructions mentioned in the counselling guidelines.
