B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination :

For admission to B.Sc Nursing Course (4 Years) in K.G. Medical University UP, Lucknow, College of Nursing KGMU, Lucknow, Vivekanand College of Nursing,Lucknow, Sahara College of Nursing, Lucknow, Samarpan College of Nursing,Chinhat, Lucknow, G.S.R.M. College of Nursing, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, BCM College of Nursing, Khairabad, Sitapur.

Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2016.

Minimum qualifications :
a. 10+2 with 45% marks in science (PCBE) from any recognized board. ( Physics/Chemistry/Biology or Biotechnology /English)
b. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
c. 17 Years as on 31st December
d. 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
e. Any other reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
f. Reservation shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it.

Online Application procedure :
Application shall be submitted online only, admit card will be available online it self.
1. Online Application can be submitted on website kgmcindia.edu, kgmu.org
2. First register and create Login ID and Password on the website as directed and keep it for all future correspondence.
3. Fill all the entries in the application form carefully and check them before final submission, as wrongly filled, incomplete application form will be rejected and no enquiry will be entertained regarding this.
4. Please take a printout of the completed application form.
5. Login with the same Login ID and Password will be required for obtaining the Admit Card

Examination :
Candidates will be allowed to enter in the examination hall only on presentation of Admit Card.
1. Examination will be of 180 minutes duration and will be from 11:00 AM to 2.00 PM.
2. Candidates are required to be present at the examination center 60 minutes before the commencement of the examination and to be seated 30 minutes before the time of examination.
3. No candidate will be allowed to enter in the examination hall 15 minutes after the seating time. Candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall only after completion of examination.
4. Candidates shall sign the attendance sheet when directed to do so by the Invigilators.

5. Candidates shall not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written matter or bits of paper or any other material except the admit card inside the examination hall.

Pagers, cellular phones and electronic gadgets of any kind are strictly prohibited in the examination hall and shall be treated as use of unfair means. Candidates are advised not to bring these in the Examination Hall as there is no provision for safe keeping.

6. Examination will be on MCQ basis in English language only.
7. The MCQ has “One Correct option”. There shall be no Negative Marking.

8. Candidates shall observe strict silence during their paper. Any disturbance in the examination hall shall be deemed as misbehavior and the defaulting candidate shall forfeit the right to continue in the examination hall. The decision of the Center Superintendent shall be final.

9. Candidates shall enter the roll number on the top of the question booklet and no where else. Rough work, if any, may be done on the question booklet and not on the response sheet.
10. The question booklet along with the response sheet have to be deposited with the Ivigilator of the examination hall after the completion of examination.

11. No candidate should leave his/her seat of the examination hall without the permission of the Invigilator until he/she finally submits the question booklet and response sheet to the invigilator.
12. No candidate shall copy from the paper of any other candidate or permit his/her own papers to be copied or attempt to give or attempt to obtain irregular assistance of any description.
13. The question booklet and response sheet are not to be taken out of the examination hall under any condition.
14. USE BALL PEN ONLY (BLUE OR BLACK) Provided by us.
15. Candidate should be careful while filling the circle provided in the answer sheet. The answer sheet shall be read by OMR Technology and marks awarded shall be final and no representation shall be entertained.
16. Candidate should ensure that the question booklet provided to him contains all the pages intact within 10 minutes of commencement of the examination.
