Admission :

1. Application Form is available with admission brochure which can be downloaded from the University website bilaspuruniversity.ac.in) and can be submitted to the University along with Demand draft in favor of “Registrar, Bilaspur University” payable at Bilaspur as follows: Rs. 250.00 (For SC & ST) Rs. 350.00 (For others),

2. Filled in application form should reach the University by 20th June 2016 either by dropping in box kept in Bilaspur Universit y campus or by postal addressed to the Registrar, Bilaspur, University, Old High Court Campus, Bilaspur, Dist. Bilaspur (C.G.) 495001. The envelop should contain “Application for admission to ———————————– (Subject)”

3. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications laid down in the advertisement.

4. Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Course unless he/she fulfils the course wise eligibility conditions.

APPLICANTS MUST FULLY SATISFY THEMSELVES ABOUT THEIR course wise ELIGIBILITY AS PRESCRIBED in the ADMISSION BROCHURE, BEFORE FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM.

5. If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to appear at the Entrance Test who otherwise does not meet the minimum course wise eligibility requirements, he/she cannot, at a later date, use that as a right to claim that he/she meets the eligibility requirements.

6. The University will not be responsible for postal delay in delivery of the application forms of the candidates.
7. Selection of candidates for admission will be made on the basis of merit to be prepared through Marks of qualifying examination and marks obtained in Entrance test.
8. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the examination.
9. Medium of entrance test will be English only.
10. Admit card may be obtained from the department concerned and will be not be dispatched through post.
11. For any enquiry candidate may contact the Head of the concerned department, Bilaspur University.
12. Admission test will be conducted in respective Department of the University. Students seeking admission to more than one course may appear in entrance test of any of the course.
13. Entrance test will not be conducted if number of applicants are less than the intake.

14. Based on the number of applicants and infrastructure number of seats of the course may be increased.
Admission Details :
(i) RELAXATION IN MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR SC, ST & PWD CATEGORIES: Relaxation of 5% will be given to the applicants belonging to SC, ST & PWD category.
(ii) RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR SC, ST, OBC & PWD CATEGORIES: There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST & PWD candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for admissions in various courses in upper age limit wherever the upper age limit is prescribed.

14. For each course, the minimum eligibility requirement is mentioned department wise in this Admission Brochure.
15. A candidate studying in the final year of qualifying examination is eligible to appear in the entrance examination. but candidate must have the evidence of qualifying the eligibility examination at the time of counselling/admission otherwise his/her candidature shall be turned down and the opportunity will be given to the next candidate in the merit list.
16. Candidates are allowed to appear at the Entrance Tests provisionally subject to the final verification of Mark sheets/ Degrees/Certificates, validity of Certificates/Mark sheets of Qualifying Examination
17. Application Forms of candidates who submitted forged/fake certificates or adopted fraudulent means shall be REJECTED. Further, such candidates shall be debarred from appearing in any subsequent Entrance Tests conducted by the Vishwavidyalaya.
18. Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or inclusion of name in the merit list does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Course unless he/she fulfils the course wise eligibility conditions.

19. University reserves the right to cancel/refuse admission at any point of time if it is found that:
(a) Minimum eligibility requirements are not fulfilled.
(b) False/fake/forged documentation has been done, or, facts have been suppressed.
(c) Any other similar valid reason or human error in calculation/preparation of merit.

20. Candidates admitted to any Course except Post graduate diploma programs in this university shall not be eligible to pursue simultaneously any other full-time Course in this or in any other University/Institution.
