CEE-AMPAI :
Common Entrance Examination AMPAI-2016-WB is an entrance examination conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI), for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs for B.Tech and B.Pharm degree courses in the state of West Bengal at the institutes mentioned below, through minority quota.

Based on overwhelming response from the student community in terms of interest towards appearing in AMPAI 2014 and CEE-AMPAI-2015-WB; CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB will be conducted as per GO No:, for the admission to first year B.Tech and B.Pharm courses in the session beginning ,wherein preference of admission shall be given to Sikh minority students. Seats then left vacant may be filled up by students from any other religion/caste/category, upon fulfilling necessary eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:
To be eligible to appear in CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB and thereafter secure admission in the approved institutes based on position in the merit list, students have to fulfiull the following criteria:
Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Age Restriction: Engineering & Technology / Pharmacy Courses:
Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2016. There is no upper age limit. Date of Birth as recorded in Class X Examination under any School/Secondary Education Board Certificate/Admit Card will only be considered.
Academic Requirements:
After examination or admission, or during any stage thereof, if it is found on scrutiny that an applicant is under age or otherwise ineligible, his/her application for admission will be cancelled outright even if he / she appeared in CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB and secured a position in the merit list.
Permission to appear in CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB or securing a rank in the merit list on the basis of the performance in the said examination does not constitute a right / guarantee in favour of the candidate for his / her admission.
For Bachelor in Engineering &Technology:
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with:
Individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology
Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks in the said qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary (10+2).
Note: Pass marks in any subject shall imply pass marks in theory and practical individually, if specified by the concerned Council/Board.
For Bachelor in Pharmacy Course:
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council /Board with:
Individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology
Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks in the said qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary (10+2).

For only pharmacy exam,on which subjects we have to give exam?
For pharmacy exam,you have to give exam on Mathematics, physics, chemo and biology.
Will question be in English?

Which type of questions will be asked in exam?
Questions will be based on the syllabus for WBJEEM – 2016 (details available at http://www.wbjeeb.in and APPENDIX – I). In every subject, all questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ-type) with four options against each question and the answer(s) to each of the questions has/have to be marked on the OMR Answer Sheet.
