DUCET :

Applications are invited for admission into UG/PG courses through Common Entrance Test (DUCET-2016).

Candidates appearing for the final year UG can also apply. There is no entrance test for UG/Diploma/Certificate courses.

a) Regular PG programmes: 1) M.A. Teluguenglish/Kannada/Tamil/Tulu? Malayalam/Philosophy/ Linguistics/History/Folklore &Tribal Studies 2) M. Sc, Herbal Sciences 3) M. Ed

b) Self Financing PG programmes: 1) M. Sc. Botany/ Physics/Zoology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio- Technology/ Microbiology/Chemistry/Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics 2) M.L.I.Sc 3) M. Com 4) M.S.W 5) M. A Sociology/Rural Development Management/Music & Performing Arts/ Tourism and Management/Traditional Theatre.

c) UG Self-Financing programmes : B.A. (History, Telugu, Political Science)/ (History, Telugu, Philosophy)/ ( History, Economics, Political Science)/ ( History, Telugu, Sanskrit)/ B.S.W (Sociology, Social Work, Psychology) B. Sc ( Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)/ Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry)/ (Zoology, Bio-Technology, Chemistry)/ (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry)/(Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry)/B.B.M/B.Com (Computer Applications)

d) Self-Financing & Other programmes: P.G. Diploma in Folkloristics/Tourism/ Translation/ Academic Writing (Malayalam); Diploma in Yoga and allied sciences/ Tamil Language/ Tulu/Malayalam; Certificate programmes in Tamil/Tulu/Malayalam/Academic Writing.

Note:
a) 10% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu,

b) Applications and Prospectus can be obtained from the Office of the Dean, Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Kuppam-517426 either in person or by DD for Rs.300/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/Differently Abled) by registered post favouring “The Registrar, Dravidian University” payable at Kuppam,

c) For downloaded application, enclose D.D. for Rs.300/-.

The following eligibility criteria may please be noted carefully while admitting the UG students into various courses of study:
(a) For admission into B.Sc., Computer Science combinations, Candidates should have studied Mathematics at the qualifying examination.

(b) For admission into B.Sc., Degree Course with Biology/Zoology/Biochemistry Sericulture/ Chemistry/Microbiology/Bio-Technology as one of the subjects under Part-II candidates should have passed Biology, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.

(c) For admission into B.Com., Degree course, priority should be given to the students who passed Commerce/Arts subjects in the qualifying examination, though all are eligible.

(e) For admission into B.A., Degree course, priority should be given to the students who passed Arts subjects in the qualifying examination, though all are eligible.
(f) For admission into BBM., Degree Course, priority should be given to the students who passed Commerce subject in the qualifying examination, though all are eligible.
