1. How do I access the site to fill up the online application?
An applicant should log on to http://www.niper.gov.in/ to access the home page of the online application.
2. When can I submit online application for a particular examination? Can I apply any time during the year for a particular examination?
An applicant should apply for a particular examination only when it has been notified by the JEE Committee . Brief information containing the extracts of the examination which is being notified is published in the leading News Papers and is also available on NIPER website http://www.niper.gov.in. This year the online registration is open on April 6, 2015.
3. Can anyone apply online for a particular examination?
Yes, an applicant who fulfils the eligibility criteria prescribed in the information Brochure (i.e. available on website http://www.niper.ac.in/) of that particular examination can apply.
4. Are there any detailed instructions to guide an applicant for submitting an online application?
Yes, an applicant must refer to the detailed instructions which are available on website http://www.niper.ac.in/ for filling up the online application before doing so, which are available. All the information regarding he eligibility conditions and requirement of qualified examinations etc. are also available in Information Brochure available on NIPER Website.
5. What is the procedure to pay the fee for the examination?
There are two options for the payment of fee:
i) Pay by e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of Patiala.
ii) Pay by Net-Banking facility.

6. Is there any other bank in addition to SBOP where fee can be deposited by cash?
Yes, Pay by Net Banking facility. Detailed information regarding the mode of payment of registration fee by Net banking i. e,. Debit/credit cards is also available in information Brochure.
7. I have successfully submitted the online application, should I send the print outs of the application to the NIPER, S.A.S Nagar Mohali by post?
Once an applicant has successfully submitted the applicant is required to send a hard copy of the print out of his/her application to the NIPER Mohali. However, it is strongly advised that the applicant keeps a hard copy of his /her application for his/her own record and future communication with us, if any.
8. In which format the scanned photograph and signature should be?
The images of the photograph and signature should be scanned in the .png or .jpg format. The photograph and signature should preferably be in .jpg format. Further detail in connection is also available under heading HOW TO APPLY on NIPER web site.
9. Whether the photograph should be in Black & White or should it be in a colour?
Only colored scanned photograph as per specifications given in information brochure and in How to apply heading of NIPER web site to be uploaded.
All the Applicants are further advised to visit NIPER website regularly for any updates regarding JEE -2015 Master and Ph D examinations.
REFUND OF SECURITY :
If the student does not join the programme after paying the dues and leaves the Institute, only security deposit as applicable to each category shall be refunded, provided a written application is made by the student to the Director. No other amount shall be refunded.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE :
All the admitted students [except for those admitted in M.B.A. (Pharm.) programme and candidates Sponsored by Govt. Departments, Research and Development Organization, Public Sector undertaking/Reputed Private Pharmaceutical Enterprises] will be provided with a stipend of Rs. 8,000 per month subject to obtaining of minimum CGPA of 6.00 in each semester. In case the CGPA is less than 6.00 but more than 5.50 the stipend of the student shall be withheld till he/she obtains the minimum CGPA of 6.00.
Institute will provide financial assistance of Rs. 8,000 per month to two students of M.B.A. (Pharm.) programme. The financial assistance will be given to the student(s) during second, third and fourth semester. The financial assistance will be based on the performance and merit of the student(s) in their previous semester.
REGISTRATION/ORIENTATION :
Before the commencement of semester every student shall renew registration in person in accordance with the procedure and schedule laid down by the Institute. The student shall deposit the fee and other charges at the time of renewing the registration.
Late or in-absentia renewal of registration shall not be permitted. However, in special circumstances such as departmental assignment/training etc. the Dean, having been satisfied of the circumstances, shall permit late or in-absentia renewal of registration. No renewal of registration shall be permitted after 10 days of commencement of the classes/semester. Student who fails to renew registration by the notified date shall cease to be the student of Institute.
The registration shall be cancelled under any of the following conditions:
** Where the student absents for a continuous period of four weeks without prior intimation/sanction of leave;
** Where the student fails to renew registration;
** Where the student fails to clear the examination
** Where the student has committed an act of misconduct/indiscipline;
** Where academic performance of the student is unsatisfactory; and
** Where the student resigns from the programme and his or her resignation has been accepted.
CREDIT SYSTEM :
** Education in the Institute is organised around the credit system.
** Each course has a certain number of credits which will describe its weightage. The performance/progress of the student will be measured by the number of credits that he/she has completed satisfactorily. A minimum grade point average will be required to qualify for the degree.
** Every course will be co-ordinated by a faculty member of the department offering the course in a given semester. This faculty member will be called the course co-ordinator. The coordinator will have the full responsibility to conduct the course, co-ordinating the work of the other members of the faculty involved in that course, holding tests and assignments and awarding the grades. In case of any difficulty the student is expected to approach the course co-ordinator for advice and clarification. However, the overall academic activities of a department will be supervised by the head of the respectivedepartment.

Will the college fees payed as DD will be refunded to us if we are not interested to join the college after counseling?
