For Admission to First Year B.Tech. / Second Year B.Tech. / MBA /MCA/M.Tech. / Ph.D

The admissions in different undergraduate and post graduate programmes being offered in Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur shall be made through the admission test and counseling conducted under the supervision and control of the University Admission Committee (UAC). The UAC has authority for conducting the admission process, and to decide about modalities of admissions, allotment of seats and all matters related to the admissions in the University with the approval of Vice Chancellor, MMMUT, Gorakhpur.
MODE OF ADMISSION :
ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR
The admissions shall be made in first year of the following courses offered at the University through Admission Test-2016 for the academic year 2016-17.
(i) 4 year B.Tech. Course
(ii) 2 year MBA Course
(iii) 3 year MCA Course
(iv) 2 year M.Tech. Course
(v) Ph.D. Course
ADMISSION TO B.TECH. SECOND YEAR (For Diploma Holders and B.Sc. Graduates) :
LATERAL ENTRY :
(i) The eligible candidates (Refer clause 3.1) seeking direct admission to second year of B.Tech. (for Engineering Diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates both), are required to submit the application forms for appearing in the specified paper of admission test followed by counseling.
(ii) Such seats are limited to a maximum of 20% of the sanctioned intake in different B.Tech. courses on supernumerary basis. However, the number of seats available for admission in B.Tech. second year may increase on account of vacant seats of preceding year’s B.Tech. st Year admissions.
(iii) Provided further that, the candidates belonging to B So. stream shall be considered only after filling the seats in this category with the candidates belonging to the diploma stream
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ON-LINE APPLICATION :
Before proceeding to fill-up the On-Line Application Form, the candidates are required to read the following instructions given in two sections: SECTION-A and SECTION-B.
SECTION-A explains the steps needed to fill-up this form and SECTION-B illustrates the information for various fields of On-Line Application Form.
SECTION-A :
Step-1: Profile Registration
Please use this step to give general information about you to register the profile. The details of fields in the opened form have been illustrated in Section-B. After entering the required information in on-line form, submit the form by clicking on SUBMIT button. The subsequent screen displays a Admission Form No. and Login Id(which is actually the email which you entered during profile registration).A mail containing this information is also forwarded at your email-id.
Please note down the Admission Form No. carefully as you need to essentially mention it in all your future correspondence/queries related to your application form.
Step-2: Candidate Login
Use your login id and the password to login again to proceed further for Application Form filling. Use View/Edit Profile option to edit/correct your form (if needed) otherwise proceed to Step-3.
Step-3: Fill Registration Form
After entering the required information in appropriate Registration Form, click on SUBMIT button. Make payment form shall be displayed on subsequent screen and click on Make Payment button to deposit the fee.
Before proceeding for Step-4 or online payment please keep the following ready:
Softcopy of your Black & White Photograph (3.5cm X 4.5cm) in JPG Format(less than 15 KB size)
Scanned Signature (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPG (less than 15 KB size)
Step-4: Verify Payment
Use Candidate Login tab to enter in your login account and click on Verify Payment. Click on Verify Payment button. If your payment verified successfully, you will be prompted to upload softcopies of your black & white photograph and scanned signature. After uploading of black & white photograph and scanned signature, the final Confirmation Page of Application Form and Payment Receipt shall be generated. Take print out of this confirmation page and Payment Receipt in two copies (one for being sent to the University and other being retained by the candidate) and logout.
Please complete the printout of the Confirmation Page of Application Form by affixing black & white photograph (same as the one uploaded in application form), put Signature and Left-Hand Thumb Impression of candidate and the Signature of parent/guardian at appropriate places. The duly complete copy of the Confirmation Page of Application Form should be sent along with copy of Bank Challan/ Payment Receipt to The Coordinator, Admissions-2016, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Deoria Road, Gorakhpur-273010 (U.P.) so as to reach latest by 5 P.M. April 04, 2016 .
If the payment of the fee is made through online (E-Payment) and due to some difficulties the candidate is not sure weather the payment is processed or not, then please use login tab to enter in your login account and use verify payment option to check your payment is successful or not.
On successful payment through Bank Challan use login tab to enter in your login account and use verify payment option of two bank working days.
Please do keep 6 additional copies of the black & white photograph (same as uploaded on ON-Line Application Form) for future use.
