ALL INDIA PRE-VETERINARY TEST :
The Veterinary Council of India is a statutory body established under act of Parliament viz Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) and charged with the responsibilities of regulation of Veterinary practice, preparation and maintenance of Indian Veterinary Practitioner’s Register, regulation of minimum standards of Veterinary education and matters connected therewith.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(1) read with section 21(1) (b) of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, the Council with the prior approval of the Central Government has framed Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education – Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H) Regulations, 2008.
As per the provisions of regulation 7(7) of the aforesaid Regulations, the Veterinary Council of India conducts All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H Course for filling up 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State). Haryana,Manipur and Rajasthan States are also participating in All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)-2016 for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H Course for filling up State Quota seats (other than 15% All India Quota) in their Veterinary Colleges.
The Counseling for 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges shall be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India.
The Counseling for admission in seats under the control of participating States (other than 15% All India Quota) shall be conducted as per the notifications issued seperately by the respective States.
ELIGIBILITY:
(i) The candidates should be an Indian National (except from the State of Jammu & Kashmir).
(ii) He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2016. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1st of January, 2017 or later will not be eligible to appear at the AIPVT-2016. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota and participating States Seats is 25 years as on 31st December, 2016. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.Candidate must be born on or between
(a) 01/01/1987 to 01/01/2000 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01/01/1992 to 01/01/2000 (General Category)
Qualifying Examinations:
Candidate must have passed any of the following qualifying examinations:
The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
OR
The Intermediate Examination in Science from a recognized University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English as a core course.
INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM OF AIPVT :
1. Please read the instructions and proceed carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form.
2. Candidates can apply for AIPVT – 2016 “Online” only.
3. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on the council’s website.
4. Examination Fee Details
Without Late Fee With Late Fee
FOR GENERAL/OBC Rs 1500/- Rs 1500/- + Rs 750/- as late fee
FOR SC/ST/PH Rs 750/- Rs 750/- + Rs 750/- as late fee
Service/Processing charges & Service Taxes is to be paid by the candidate, as applicable
5. Uploading of Photograph, Signature ,Parents/ Guardians Signature, Thumb Impression and Self declration ( Self Declaration is required in the case of candidate belongs to J&K ).
Size of the Candidate’s photograph image must be greater than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.
Size of the Candidate’s signature image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 25 kb
Size of the Parents/ Guardians signature image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 25 kb
Size of the Candidate’s Thumb Impression image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 25 kb.
* Size of the Self Declaration image must be greater than 100 kb and less than 300 kb.
6 . The fee can be remitted in the following ways:
Through any Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking using on-line payment gateway facility in Vijaya Bank.
Through Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking/ E-challan using SB Collect facility in State Bank of India:
(Note: Fee can be deposited Next Day after 11.00 AM only after generation of E-Slip)

10 . The Candidate is required to mention only his/her own or parent’s mobile number (only one mobile no. and e-mail ID are valid for one application) as all information/communication will be sent by VCI on registered mobile number and e-mail ID.

I am filling the application form of AIPVT application of 2016 and I have problem that my photo is uploaded without Date below my photo in confirmation page of AIPVT application form. Please tell me this solution if this is a problem.
